Manhattan Seafood platter Best Smile May 14, 2011

Most people would compare Fish&co with the Manhattan Fish Market. I would say both is closely comparable if you are talking about Fish&Chips.

Seafood platter for Two is what i strongly recommend. I am not a fan of seafood, but this is really good. Forget about the oil and fats, focus on the juicyness of the fried mushrooms and the freshness of the prawns..

Service is alright, but i remember they keep asking me and my friend to keep changing seat because they lack seats..

Bali Thai Yummy Smile May 14, 2011

I love the green curry at bali thai, one of the best I have tasted. I especially love the pandan rice. I do not recommend anyone to just eat the plain rice. I am someone who does not like plain rice, but i must say the pandan rice is super nice- I even refilled my portion 3 times!! Yes you are refill your rice for free.

Ambience is alright, very suitable for family and a group of friends.

Astons @ Bugis Cry May 14, 2011

You have heard about astons, about it's good price and value for money. And you have heard about the usual long queue outside Astons@cathay.

However, I do not recommend Astons express, unless budget is your main concern. The quality is highly comprised by the location of the restaurant. Though cheaper than those outlet in shopping malls, the non-aircon environment and the lower quality of food makes it not worth the money.

My friend ordered the teriyaki chicken but the sauce taste more like BBQ sauce than teriyaki. I wanted pasta, but the waiter said it doesnt have. I then wanted fries and mash potato as side dish, but again it doesnt have.

Disappointment..

First time @ Ma Maison Smile May 14, 2011

Categories : French | Japanese | Fusion | Restaurant

Ma Maison is a must try if you are a food lover.

Too bad it only opens after 6pm at the central branch.. My friend and I have to wait outside for an hour because we thought it will be opened then, but the wait prove to be worth while.

The black/brown sauce and the hamburger steak are the highlights of the restaurant, but I would recommend you to order anythingg that has the brown sauce. It is really good, abit sweet, but it keeps you wanting for more.. It also has a bit of wine taste which is unlike the other sauce I have tasted from other restaurant.

Ambience is good, but too bad the seating capacity is too small. It is fully packed just 10min after it is opened. Glad that we queued up first. And i dont think they take reservations too..

Tonkatsu @ Mandarin Gallery Smile May 14, 2011

Categories : French | Japanese | Fusion

Ma Maison restaurant is known for their french-japanese fusion food and is have been highly rated by the public and the many reviews that it has all over the internet.

Tonkatsu is newly opened in Mandarin Gallery and it certainly live up to the name of ma maison. It focused only on japanese cusine, and it is famous for the fried chicken/pork. It is a must try and i must say it taste really good. Crispy on the outside and fresh and juicy on the inside. Cant really taste the oil and do not look sinful after eating..

Must try if you are a japanese food lover!!
