The Food
I ordered Tomato Soup, Grilled Chicken with Portabella Mushrooms and Brownie and Ice Cream to complete my meal.
The Tomato Soup is tasty and nice and has a strong tomato taste as if like drinking tomato puree juice. This appetizer dish whets up my appetite and goes very well with the focaccia bread.
As for the Grilled Chicken, is very tasty and is grilled with perfect timing. The skin is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The texture is one of the better ones I have tasted and the Portabella Mushrooms makes the dish with a fragrant mushroom taste. Instead of the usual fries, the side dishes, pan fried cucumber and baby potatoes makes the dish a healthier choice.
Lastly, I had my Brownie and ice cream as my dessert. The Brownie is warm, soft and not too sweet and goes quite well with the vanilla ice cream. What a heavenly dessert to end the meal with!!

The Price
Reasonably priced at $30++ for the whole bill

Overall
I will definitely come back again and highly recommended to try this!

The Food
I ordered Spicy Tom Yam Soup with River Prawns and Coconut Milk and Deep Fried Pork Knuckle Served With Spicy Sauce.

The Tom Yam Soup is tasty, with the right level of spiciness and sourness and very appetizing. Even though there is coconut milk inside but still taste like the clear original Tom Yam Soup. The ingredients inside are fresh and the prawns are also very succulent.

The Deep Fried Pork Knuckle is my favourite dish of all as the skin is very crispy on the outside and surprisingly, the meat does not taste fatty and oily and also goes very well with the spicy chilli sauce. Even the side dishes like the radish also taste very good and well marinated with spices that makes it very fragrant!

The Price
Reasonably priced at $25++ for the whole bill

Overall
I will definitely come back again and highly recommended to try this!

Categories : Singaporean Chinese | Hawker Centre | Noodles

The Food
I ordered big prawn mee dry with lots of chilli and generous portion of crispy pork lard.
The big bowl of piping hot savoury and heavenly prawn soup, boiled with hundreds of prawns and pork ribs complements the delicious noodles very well! The medium half-prawns are fresh and sweet while the pork ribs are tasty and tender.

The Price
Reasonably priced at $5 per bowl

Overall
I will definitely come back again and highly recommended to try this!

The Food
I ordered the signature noodle dish called "Cross Bridge" bee hoon which come with 11 different ingredients and 1 bowl of bee hoon and 1 big bowl of soup and was told to "cook" the noodles by myself. I add in the ingredients one by one followed by the noodle and mixed thoroughly. All the ingredients are cooked before hand except the quail egg and get cooked by the hot soup eventually. The bee hoon is springy and the soup was surprisingly clear and refreshing and not too salty. It also has a unique taste, one that you can’t easily replaced with other noodle dishes. Maybe that’s why people still patronize this shop even though $8 for a bowl of beehoon is slightly over-priced!

The Price
Slightly over-priced at $8 per bowl but then is quite unique hence still worth it for a new experience!

Overall
I will definitely come back again and highly recommended to try this!

Bakerzin Delight Smile Jun 27, 2013

The Food
One thing I love about Bakerzin is the free-flow of bread and can choose to toast them manually at the toaster and have them crispy or have them chewy without toasting. Accompanied by olive oil and balsamic vinegar, the bread was fantastic when dipped with the pumpkin soup.
I ordered the Teriyaki Chicken set meal served with Pumpkin soup and Ice Tea ($10.90). Even though the sushi rice was a little dry but it was very filling probably from the bread that I have ate earlier. The Teriyaki Chicken was pretty sweet, tender and well marinated and the pumpkin soup taste very nice, thick and full of fresh pumpkin flavour.
I also ordered the Baileys Irish Cream souffle ($8.80) and that must have been the nicest dessert I ever had. It looks like a sponge cake but tastes like foam that melts in your mouth. The sweetness also just nice

The Price
Reasonably priced at $20++ for the whole bill

Overall
I will definitely come back again to try their other desserts, with eyes on their Creme Brulee and highly recommended to try this!
