The Food
Having a craving for durian yet want to try something special hence my friends recommend me to try this dessert called "Durian Mousse". This has got to be the tastiest and smoothest durian mousse I ever eaten. The texture is delightfully creamy and sweet with minimal pungent taste and is a true dessert for durian lovers like me!!.

The Price
Reasonably priced at $5 which is value for money as real D24 durian flesh are inside!

Overall
I will definitely come back again and highly recommended to try this for all durian lovers!

Nan Xiang Chicken Rice Smile Jun 27, 2013

Categories : Hainanese | Chicken Rice

The Food
I ordered the Chicken Rice Ball set meal with fried vegetables with shallots and lotus root pork ribs soup The rice ball was fragrant, firm, a bit sticky and easily tear apart with chop stick. Taste wise same like chicken rice but texture is like eating rice dumplings.
The chicken was springy, chewy and juicy with lots of lean meat too! Most important is the chilli sauce which was a bit sour and spiciness just nice and taste shiok !! The chicken rice ball was wrapped in special paper maybe to retain the moisture and after "unwrap" the paper, I saw the rice so "fat" and "juicy" and glistens under natural lighting
The seat meal also comes with Lotus root pork ribs soup which tastes nice and homely and packs a lot of ingredients like lotus roots, carrots, red dates and pork ribs.
As for the fried vegetables with shallots, I find that is a bit too oily for me but taste wise still acceptable for me.

The Price
Reasonably priced at $25++ for generous portion of vegetables, herbal soup and chicken

Overall
I will definitely come back again and highly recommended to try this!

The Food
I ordered the Rosti with sausage served with garlic bread and cream of mushroom soup. Rosti is actually shredded potato patties and fried with round pan shaped. At first bite of the rosti, can feel is less oily and the potato are fresh too. I also love the dipping sauce that came with it and the sausage was curled up which I find is quite unique compared to other restaurant. The grilled sausage is also juicy and well-marinated and goes very well with the Rosti which make it a complete meal! As for the garlic toast and mushroom soup are also very delicious too !

The Price
Reasonably priced at $15++ which is value for money

Overall
I will definitely come back again and highly recommended to try this!

The Food
I ordered the Thai tomyum soup, Pineapple fried rice, Thai Iced Tea, Deep fried garlic chicken and last but not least dessert Mango glutinous rice. but I thought it was too spicy!
As for the Tom Yam Seafood Soup, it was a bit too spicy which overpowers the sourness and there were a lot of ingredients like seafood, mushrooms and vermicelli. Next, the pineapple rice which looks appetizing with the soft pork floss floating on top. The rice texture is just nice with strong and fresh pineapple aroma. As for the deep fried garlic chicken, i find that is a bit too hard but still very crispy with nice garlic flavour and tender chicken. Lastly, what I love most is the Mango glutinous rice dessert which was awesome, very authentic and sweet!

The Price
Reasonably priced at around $30 for the final bill.

Overall
I will definitely come back again and highly recommended to try this!

The Food
I ordered the Chili Crab with steamed mantou, Crayfish with salted egg yolk paste and crab bee hoon. I feel that the chili crab has the right balance of chili, tomato and egg to make me wanna mop up the entire plate of gravy with the mantou. The crab meat is very soft and fleshy which made it very appetizing just by looking at it.
Next is the Crayfish with salted egg yolk paste. The Crayfish is very fresh with juicy and fleshy meat inside and when combined with the salted egg yolk makes the dish taste heavenly. The Crab bee hoon also very delicious and has the right texture (not too hard or soft) with nice crab flavour mixed with the bee hoon

The Price
Reasonably priced at $100++ with decent portion

Overall
I will definitely come back again and highly recommended to try this!
