Fish Ball Noodles Dry Smile Jan 19, 2014
Categories : Hawker Centre | Noodles

I ordered a bowl of dry fishball mee pok with chilli for S$3.00. The Mee Pok was springy & was cooked with the right temperature & timing and the noodles are not sticked together. The noodles was tasty and goes very well with the chilli sauce & lard. There are a lot of ingredients such as fishballs, big fish cake slices & minced pork. Their speciality is their bouncy and fresh fishballs and I like it very much.
Even though there are no queue but average waiting time is about 30mins during peak hours & they will served to my table.
Overall I find that this is one of the better fishball noodles that I have tasted & is a must try for all fishball noodles lovers! lol

Awesome Grilled Chicken Smile Jan 19, 2014

Categories : Indonesian | Food Court | BBQ

I ordered the Ayam Panggang (Grilled Chicken Set for SGD5.50), which consist of grilled chicken thigh, fried omelette, rice & soup. One special ingredient is their delicious black sauce combination with their big chicken thigh & rice. The Chicken thigh is grilled nicely with the skin crispy and a bit of charred. The meat inside is tender and juicy and when dipped with their sweet & not overly spicy chilli, make my adrenaline rush into my brain. The rice is quite soft & fluffy and they even have curry gravy option to be drenched into the rice!
Even though the queue is quite long, however the service is efficient as I waited for around 5mins. Prices are reasonable given the huge size of the chicken thigh at only $5.50.
Overall, this is a must try for all grilled chicken lovers! lol

Crispy Carrot Cake Smile Jan 13, 2014

Categories : Singaporean | Chinese | Hawker Centre

I ordered a plate of crispy carrot cake at $3. The portion is quite generous and the carrot cake & eggs smell very nice and looks nice too! This stall serves carrot cake in generous portion of eggs and main focus is the crispy on the outside & soft on the inside. The owner even set up stall during the Singapore Expo Food festival but the price is much more expensive. I rather buy & eat at hawker center. Even though there is a long queue when I ordered during weekends but I waited for about 10 mins hence their service is quite fast! As for the chilli, taste normal to me. I prefer to eat without the chilli as I can taste the original version of carrot cake ! Overall, is a must try for all crispy carrot cake lovers! lol

Pig Liver Mee Sua Delight Smile Jan 12, 2014

Categories : Hawker Centre | Bak Kut Teh

My friend recommended me to try the pig liver mee sua & I decided to went there on Friday evening. Since is a weekday, hence there was no queue. I ordered the pig liver mee sua & was surprised to see the soup is black colour, must be they added dark soya sauce in the soup. In order to taste the softness & freshness of the pig liver, the temperature & the time to cook must be just nice else if overcooked, the texture is hard hence not nice. This stall's pig liver given in generous portion & the texture is soft & chewy. Literally, when I chew the pig liver, it basically melts in my mouth & taste SHIOK!! As for the mee sua, is cooked just nice and slipped through my throat smoothly. Overall, is a nice dish to try for all pig liver lovers ! lol

Chicken Cutlet Delight Smile Jan 11, 2014

Categories : Hawker Centre | Steaks and Grills

I ordered the Chicken Cutlet at $6. One thing special about this stall is they served the portion based on our body size which means huge portion will be given for those big-sized person & small portion given for small-sized person. Being a western food lover, I will look out for crispness & freshness of the chicken cutlet. This stall serves excellent & juicy chicken cutlet & chicken chop. The side dishes like baked beans, coleslaw & fries are given in generous portion & I like the crinkle cut fries as is very crispy. As for the chicken cutlet, the chicken meat is juicy & tender. Even though, I went during lunch hours and crowded but their service quite fast as I waited for around 10mins. Overall, the food & service is good & is a must try for all western food lovers! lol
