Don’t you agree that nothing makes your day more than a good breakfast? Though you may want to prepare your own meal every day, it may be difficult for a working professional (like you) to wake up early and do it yourself.

You don’t have to for there are many restaurants in Singapore which offer breakfast meals, and one of these is Kung Fu Paradise. From now until 30 April 2013, this café has the “All-Day Breakfast Bonanza” promotion which features a range of items to satisfy a grumbling tummy. Are you a late sleeper? Worry not for these items are available all throughout the day so you can wake up any time you want and still get the chance to enjoy them.

For all the dishes on their menu, you can click here for the full review:

Spending per head: Approximately $20(Breakfast)

Craving for paella, tapas and all things Mediterranean? Make reservations at 21 on Rajah, the brand new restaurant at the Days Hotel in Balestier – one of Singapore’s most established food destinations.

The cuisine that is trademark of the 21 countries that surround the Mediterranean Sea (that explains the restaurant’s name) is the star of the menu, meticulously created by Paul Then, Director of Culinary Operations. However, this Mediterranean vibrancy extends well past the food; step into the restaurant and you’d immediately pick up these exotic vibes by looking at the décor of the interior.

Here at 21 on Rajah, communal dining is encouraged – not just for the tapas but for the mains too! The Prawn and Bacon Roll ($13.90) is a sinfully satisfying choice; bacon-wrapped prawns deep fried to crispy perfection and topped with zucchini pesto sauce and sesame crackers… doesn’t that sound heavenly?

Dempsey is arguably one of our top destinations when it comes to some late night bites and drinks. Well, if you ever decide to hang out here any time of the week, why don’t you visit the latest addition to the restaurant and bar scene — Tigerlily?

Located where Dempsey Brasserie used to be, the Asian tapas bar promises you a relaxing and enjoyable experience within its unique and cosy interior.

As soon as you step inside this place, you will immediately be mesmerised with its unique décor. Hanging from the ceiling are 88 birdcage lights which remind you of HK director Wang Kai Wai’s movies (that is, if you're familiar with his works). These lights give a warm yellow glow to the bar and accentuate the oriental furnishings of this tapas bar.

At Tigerlily, you can drink and be merry with the wide range of alcoholic beverages on its menu. Beer drinkers can cheers to draught beers such as Heineken or Guinness. There are also Asian bottled beers available which include Chang, Huda, Asahi, or Tsingtao.

As for the food, they have quite a number of choices which are inspired from Asian cuisine. Interested to find out what they are? Click here for the full review:

From now until 31 May 2013, the restaurant is having its Seafood Fiesta promotion which makes all these favourites available for dinner!

There are quite a lot of offerings so we help you out by listing down some recommendations. You can warm up your stomach first and head over to the Appetiser Section. Here you can find the Oyster Shooter, Fresh Prawns on Sesame Toast, Tangy Crabmeat Cake with Coriander Leaves, Spicy Squid Salad, Deep-Fried Crab Claws, Gratinated Half Shell Scallops with Fresh Herbs and Tangy Crabmeat with Coriander Leaves and Baked Whole Salmon.

Over at the seafood section, you can relish on Black Mussels Tiger Prawns, Australian Queen Scallops, Fresh Oysters, as well as Flower Crabs! Feast on this together with some crab dishes which include Stir-Fried Egg Yolk, Stir-fried Crab with Black Pepper Sauce, and Stir-fried Chilli Crab.

The restaurant has many other sections you have to visit for the fresh seafood offerings. To read the review, click here:

Located high up in the clouds, Faber Bistro sits perched atop Mount Faber, one of Singapore’s most popular tourist spots.

If you’ve a voracious appetite, consider either the FB Bavarian Pot ($20) or the Braised Lamb Shank with Mashed Potatoes, Garden Vegetables & Kecap Manis ($23).

The FB Bavarian Pot – an assortment of sausages with kassler (salted smoked pork) and creamy mash with sauerkraut and gravy – is an extremely satisfying dish on its own and is known as “classic European comfort food”. The Braised Lamb Shank is a fusion-type dish, with the local touch of spicy-sweet kecap manis. Braised with 5 different kinds of spices for a full-bodied flavor, the Braised Lamb Shank is definitely one item that you shouldn’t miss at Faber Bistro.

Two must-try sweet treats are Home Baked Chocolate Brownie with Vanilla Ice Cream ($8.50) and Flourless Chocolate Ganache Cake with Orange Sauce ($12). Thumbs up for both!
