Waffledog Cry Jan 29, 2013   (Related Review)

this's a good place for passing secondary sch kids katong convent and stpatricks as well as those living in marine parade area. there're chairs and tables for you to sit and chill. As I was buying the bubble tea, I thought of trying their makan stuff and what caught my eye turned out to be pure bad judgement.

the waffledog was stale! and soaked with oil! totally disgusting to eat. one of the worst i've ever had.

yong tau foo Cry Jan 28, 2013

Categories : Singaporean | Food Court | Hawker Centre

Was looking for something healthier and cheaper to eat at cineleisure area, so went for Yong tau foo which costs $4.70

The auntie staff serving me was friendly but one thing I was sort of put off is that she uses the same hand to hold my food and collect $$. When I had it, the fishball taste was sour, the rest of the ingredient was so-so; tom yam soup was bland. I'm already thankful that I didn't fall sick from her poor hygiene.

No the best experience  Cry Jan 28, 2013

Categories : Beijing | Steamboat/Hot Pot | Buffet

We went to vivocity to have dinner and had craving for steamboat and there was only one we know of. So table for 2 @ $22+ each, and they had a "lovers cup" drink for $5.

The variety was kind of limited, but okay for the price to cost ratio can't complain.
Burned wedges, stale buns. chicken wings was okay. The Steamboat food was not bad.Prawns was abit too small.
While we were eating, the surprising factor about the place is that you can catch free fireworks (depends on where you're seating and what time) at sentosa around 9pm.

So that was a plus.... until it was ruined by one of the staff named Zhu Ping. Ignored us whenever we called for her. then this other helpful staff (i think local or malaysian chinese) would always attend to us.
So far we've decided not to return here again unless no other better choice of food/location.

Chicken Rice Cry Jan 28, 2013
Categories : Singaporean | Chinese | Food Court | Chicken Rice

Kallang Leisure Park Chicken King, always walk past by when I do my groceries at Cold Storage. There seems to be a lot of people eating there at lunch hours so was curious to try.

Roast chicken rice , I didn't like the rice that's the "big fluffy" type cos it easily overpowers the chicken which loses the focus of the dish. Chicken had a little blood and it was cold. again, easily had better ones else where. so much for "King".

Watami Cry Jan 28, 2013
Categories : Japanese | Sushi/Sashimi

we had craving for dinner though it was still early at 4pm in town area, so we went to Watami since there weren't much people dining. I had the watami tonkotsu ramen set, it was alright, meat was tender though portion was little.we also ordered hire katsu tamago toji teishoku, but it never came. waved for the staff... THREE TIMES. Saw me. ran into the kitchen. nothing done. Didn't know if it was currently being cooked because whenever we waved for the staff they disappeared like ninjas. My husband got fed up of waiting after 20 minutes for a simple dish , stood up to call for the staff in person, and asked for the bill.. again , they said ok. disappeared. no bill after 5 mins. so again, called for another one. finally bill came but with the pork katsu dish behind the staff holding my bill. He told them "cancel the pork katsu" , manager came (japanese woman) said "it's already served" , he replied "No.we didn't get to eat. the bill came faster than the pork. and I had to call your staff more than 3 times and get out of my seat before I got any attention.take it or leave it." manager apologised and not that she had a choice but to cancel and waste the pork katsu, the poor service totally ruined dining experience and at 4.30pm was no excuse for "peak hour" after being ignored numerous times. It's a pity because they have decent dishes as I've eaten here a few times before.
