Categories : Seafood | Zi Char | Kids-Friendly

As a family celebration organiser, i constantly have to look out for fancy or new restaurant to go too but in last minute cases, i wouldn't have to crack my head cause i know that Owens at turf city is a good quiet place with fresh good food.
Poach herbal prawn - Live prawns cooked in very fragrant herbal soup with a hint of chinese wine taste that really enhances the whole dish.
Asparagus w japanese mushroom - Crunchy and fresh
Steam bamboo clam - tender clams topped with loads of flavorsome fried garlic and ginger.
Canadian dungess crab - Firm and meaty crab, 1 with thick creamy pumpkin sauce the other in appetizing black pepper sauce
Stuffed Chicken - Crispy skin with springy and tasty filling
Phillipines clam - Not overpowering dried prawn chili paste, nice.
Oyster - Fresh big fat juicy oyster !
Fried scallop - Sweet scallop wrapped with soft yam then crispy coat
Sri lanka crab - Tender and meaty crab coat with creamy salted egg yolk; best combination ever !

Time of visit : 8.30pm
What/Where : Waraku @ East coast Park
What we had : Kimchi pork ramen, saba fish set, assorted yakitori
Average cost/pax : $53
Ambience : Clean, cozy with alot of japanese decor; private tatami style room for large group
Service : Fast and well-mannered staff
Portion : Thinly slices pork soak in hot and spicy kimchi soup with silky ramen. Yakitori was appetizing but slightly salty. Juicy saba with a dash of lemon juice makes you want to keep eating

What's good in particular : Overall palatable.
What's bad in particular : n/a
