Not sure if its our weather which affects the water and it cause the tarts and bread to taste different or? It was a long hype for Paul's when it first open. Was as excited as everyone else as i heard many raves about it.

But the quality compared to the one in France is a big difference.. the fruit tart is dry, the chocolate croissant is not as fluffy as the one in France, the chocolate taste different too.

The service wasnt good either.. huge disappointment!

Heard many raves about this place and thus the visit. But it was a major disaster.

The service is average, since you order at the counter. The decor is pretty ordinary. No wow factor.

I ordered the slider burger. And a friend bought the chicken wings to share.

The chicken wings are edible. Will only go back for the wings.

And the burger came cold. 4 small streaks of bacon in it and a whole load of cheese, and some countable mushrooms. It was all cold. Asked the waitress if this is a cold burger and it seems that they dont understand a single word. Requested them to heat up the burger which i have to repeat more than 3 times as they do not understand 'heat this up please, it is cold', but it came back cold again. Left the burger uneaten. Yucks!

Honestly, how did the raves come about? Marketing gimmick?

Many raves about this tau huey. But didnt get to try it till months later as the Q is always insane. And people normally buy more than 6 containers - to make the Q more worthwhile? Had my chance one day when one of the ex colleagues walk past the stall and the Q is short.

Honestly, i had high expectations because of too-many-raves. Had my first mouth and i didnt like it. It isnt tau huey but pudding. Needless to say, i didnt finish it.

It was a dinner late at midnight where i was still working at a events company. There isnt much choices for food as its either Chinese food or fast food and at that late hour, there are still many people at the airport. As the flight was delayed, we went to Swensen's to grab some food.

Ordered baked rice, it was ok. Was hungry so it tasted good. Some of us had coffee but one of the orders was wrong, which is odd since the waiter did repeat his orders. The service wasnt prompt either, surprisingly, as there wasn't many people in the restaurant. So what are the waiters doing in the kitchen? Strange.

Everywhere was crowded as the friends and i were looking for cafes to chill, to pass time actually before we separate for our appointments and it was a waste of time to go home.

Dome was unexpectedly with no queue, as it was during the lunch hour. The friends had the coffee and i chose something safer - strawberry milkshake.

It was a turnoff! Too much syrup was used and its not a real strawberry-fruit-milkshake. And the service was bad. Staff were seen standing and talking at one corner even after we waved our hands at them.
