Along a stretch of stalls in Koufu Foodcourt, I decided on Ma La Xiang Guo as I aimed something heavy flavour to live up my taste buds. Given the meaning of Fragrant Pot in English, diners may pick whatever dishes from a wide range selection. Serving pattern was quite special, instead of usual hot pot which dipping ingredients into the soup, the concept here was uniquely stir-fried them in a chilli-laden gravy. Queue was cleared fast, waiting time was not that long even lengthy lining up.
Shiok
I just simply picked some common ingredients such as Lunchie Meat, Sliced Fish, Cabbages, Lotus Roots and beans, they came out in pipping hot then. Final meal was eaten with rice, complimentary soup was served along too. Numbing spicy, the bowl was full of fiery hot dishes. Lunchie Meat was still tender, obviously no overcooked. While fish was fresh with thick slice flesh, veggies were crunchily bitten in mouth. Quite addictive after my first spoon, spiciness was tempting and well-accompanied plain rice. Average set meal was around $5.00, I have to say it was reasonable to have a filling feast. Table Wait Time: 0 minute(s)

For me, Astons was not the first place I will think of whenever I carved for Western Food. I have countless experiences with them, some was great while some was bad. After deciding the place, I and boyfriend headed to Cathay branch. Simple wood-based furnishing, environment was comfy bright in general. Quite crowded during the peak dinner hour, all their seats almost fully occupied. Attentive staffs served us, they were friendly and readily to help. Attractive Menu given, we were spoilt for choices indeed.
Mouthful Meal
Came along with two side dishes, we opted for Coleslaw and Fries at the end. Generous serving as photo shown, the plate was filling and satisfying. Drenched in a Sea of Black Pepper Sauce, it was well-accompanied my Chicken and Pork chop. The velvet smooth pieces slid down, meat was grilled to right doneness. Fries was crisp crunchy while veggies were freshly delightful, combination was a pretty match. Cheaper alternative to have luxury Western Cuisine, perhaps it may not be the best Steakhouse yet it was definitely good enough to make out a meal off. Table Wait Time: 5 minute(s)

The most comforting soups are cooked at home especially by mum, decent and humble. Catching up with hectic lifestyle, I hardly find such lovely soup until I tried this stall. Managed by Food Republic, Soup Guru was the hit choice in bustling city. Offering a wide range of homemade soups, they promised the best soup always. Self-service basis, staff was friendly and speedy to serve us.
Great to drink
Large bones were boiled in a huge pot for at least few hours, extracting the maximum flavour into it. Very traditional way of cooking, soups were continually boiled with constant fire to hold the original taste. I opted for herbal soup, hearty warm while it served. Ribs were not too hard or overcooked at the same time brought the sweetness of the soup, taste of soup was finely warm. Old Cucumber played its part to balance up soup, texture was soft while melting at tongue. No MSG guaranteed, soup can be refilled without charging additional cost. I ordered along fried Tau Foo and made it into a filling set. Price wise, it was completely reasonable to have the authentic soup. Just under $10, you may enjoy a homely meal. Welcome to try it out. Decided on Ajisen Ramen, it was conveniently located right next to the Cinema. Originated from Kumamoto in Japan, it was currently featured as top 10 Ramen in Singapore. Queue was not that long, we got our seat very soon. Served with extensive Menu, staffs were friendly with greetings upon we stepping in.
Flavourful Bowl
Full of savoury taste and the richness of soup were appealing, warm as well as hearty. Generous spicy minced pork poured on top, the bowl was redly yummy. Noodle was thinly made, tender while soft to shallow. Meat was a little fatty and a little mushy on the other side, I like also the decent well-marinated egg. Yet, I found the combination of cabbage in this Ramen was weird, should be replaced by beansprout to make it better, in my personal opinion. Portion was filling enough, price was completely reasonable if compared to others. Catered to local appetite, I will visit it again. Table Wait Time: 10 minute(s)

Craving for dessert after meal? Gelateria Italia was one of the good choice, pampered with sweet premium quality sweetness. Extensive Ice cream displayed will not go wrong normally, taste was definitely good without deceiving. Free testing was available if you are not sure which flavour you really want, just try out. Friendly staffs were readily served, price may varied with different combination and flavour ordered.
Chilling Sweet
Drilling with milky Vanilla and classic Mango flavour, ice cream was complimented with each other. I was quite surprised that the waffle tasted so good, tender crisp outlay as well as soften mushy inner layer. The sweetness was just nice, neither too sweet nor too plain. Creamy delightful while melting in the mouth, serving was pleasing which nobody would able to resist it. Table Wait Time: 5 minute(s)
