The more reviews you write, the more Experience points (EXP) you will gain and the higher your level goes. This, in turn, gives you more privileges from OpenRice.

EXP is an abbreviation of OpenRicer Experience Points, which is used to measure each member's progress in the OpenRicer Community.
How do I increase my OpenRicer Level?
Your OpenRicer Level is determined by the number of your reviews and accumulated EXP. To increase your level, you need to meet the requirements for the next level. Please see the table above for more information.
How will I be notified when I reach a higher OpenRicer Level?
You will receive an email notification each time you progress up to a higher OpenRicer Level. You can also find out your current level by checking the featured icon on your Profile Page.
What qualifies as an Editor’s Choice review?
Each Editor’s Choice review is subject (but not limited) to the following requirements:
- Concise, well-written and without any grammar or spelling mistakes - Showcase clear images of the food - Gives a brief mention about the amount of money spent - Provides useful tips to other users Please note that these are only guidelines and our editors still reserve the full rights to determine what qualifies as an Editor’s Choice review. What happens when an automatically approved review violates the review guidelines?
When an auto-approved review is found to have violated the OpenRice review guidelines, it will be removed from our website. The offending user account may be downgraded and have the “Auto-Approval” privilege removed.
