Jamie Oliver to Open Italian Restaurant in 2013!

Foodies in Singapore now have one more reason to celebrate. Celebrity chef Jamie Oliver, which is known for his simple and fresh approach to cooking, will be opening Jamie’s Italian, his first restaurant in Vivo City on the third quarter of 2013. “I can’t tell you how excited I am to be opening a restaurant in Singapore,” said Oliver. A partnership between him and his Italian mentor Chef Gennardo Contaldo, the restaurant will feature simple yet classic dishes you would find all over Italy. The family-friendly restaurant will also make fresh their pasta daily and will feature an anti pasti station, an open kitchen, and an al fresco dining area.
