This was one of the cheapest roast meat stall you can find in Singapore. Though prices had increased by 50 cents recently, it was still among the cheapest.I ordered my usual roasted duck noodle with char siew. This was one of the cheapest roast meat stall you can find in Singapore. Though prices had increased by 50 cents recently, it was still among the cheapest.

The stall owner was quite generous with the char siew though not so for the duck meat.

The char siew was not fatty and a little dry and tough. But the dark soya sauce added to the roasted meat gave some added flavours.

The duck meat was fatty under the and it gives the overall meat tenderness.

Got half of a roast duck for dinner as saw a queue and thought I will make a try at this stall. Read the menu board that says half a duck at $10 and the whole duck will be $20, but during this festive season half of the duck will be $14. Hmm...the overall comment we gave would be that the meat were dried and slightly tough and the roasting on the skin were not tasty enough.

I was looking at those roasted meat on display, and tempted thus decided i should try it.I did not expect the Char Siew and Sio Bak to be this soft and nice. It tasted really like those roasted meat that i have eaten in Hong Kong. The similarity is pretty distinct. I got a reasonable amount of roasted meat for $3.00 with quite a lot of rice. This is definitely a good way to retain customers and to keep them coming back. This was a satisfying meal. Having a full stomach is one of the happiest thin
