We just recently discovered their chili crab! I would say their version is as good as the expensive restaurants in ECP Seafood Village. They use tomato sauce and not ketchup or chili sauce like most hawker-style chili crabs. It has a rich, dark red gravy with bits of silverfish and some nuts. It has a good balance of spice, sweetness and saltiness... nothing overpowering and goes well with either the fried buns or rice. Definitely not your average chili crab.We stopped going to other crab places since we discovered them. I'm not sure if it fits everyone's taste though, but for us, it is definitely a cheaper alternative than going to Jumbo, LB or NSB. Another good thing is they allow you to order just one crab, unlike others which has a minimum of two. As per most seafood stalls in ECP Food Vill, crab price is 50/kg. Well worth the price, IMHO. continue reading

I happened to be driving by this area and decided to stop by for some delicious seafood. My girlfriend ordered their sambal stingray and sambal kang kong. The sambal stingray is really good, the stingray they served is really fresh, you can taste the sweetness of the meat. The sambal is not too spicy. When grilled with the stingray, very fragrant. They topped it off with a lot of onions. the onions gives it a sweetish taste. they also gave some sour chilli dip, it went really well with the stingray. The kang kong is very crunchy and juicy, goes absolutely well with the sambal. It was so satisfying that I finished two bowls of rice. continue reading

Was not too hungry but mouth was itching for some food, thus i ordered a plate of mee goreng to share with my friends. The noodles were not soggy, taste really good with all the frying together with the chilli cauce and tomato sauce. The ingredients were quite a lot too, squids, prawns, fishcakes, eggs, vegetables. The seafood were very fresh and tasty. continue reading

Brought a set of grilled stringray for dinner from this seafood stall.Firstly, the presentation of this stingray was appealing and topped with a thick layer of chilli paste and sliced onion. The stringray was fresh, with lots of meat, soft and tender texture and was well cooked. Spicy level of the chili paste was acceptable, not too spicy. Lime was also provided to add refreshing citrus taste to the chilli paste and enhance the overall taste of the stringray. Additional chilli was also provided, sweet and sour taste. But the chilli was a bit too waterly and can be improved. Overall a very well cooked stringray and is worth the price. continue reading

I personally like the Mee Goreng's taste in this stall. I will never forget to squeeze the lime on my noodle before I tuck in. Prawns are sweet and fresh! Together with onions in it, the whole plate of noodles smells extremely good. SGD6 for a plate. However, the Chut Chut is so so only. The sauce isn't very tasty but it's supposed to be spicy but it isn't. SGD8 for a plate. continue reading
