1A crispy puff is very unique as it is has unique crispy skin which is characteristic of layering found on sea shells. Started in 1991, it now has various outlets in Singapore. The outlet at ang Mo Kio sells crispy puffs in various flavours from the original curry chicken with egg to sweet corn , yam and even durian. The original costs $1.50 each. The skin is thin and crispy, which the filling is not too spicy. Yummy.

1A crispy puffs are always a yay. We had a whole box of crispy curry puffs to ourselves, probably a dozen pieces. The curry puffs here are flaky as each piece is folded in thousands of layers, reminds me of xlb's 18 folds. The pastry is really crispy and flaky, delicious but it can get a little messy. The mixture filling of boiled potatoes, half a hard-boiled egg, chicken with curry powder and seasoning is absolutely awesome, aromatic and really tasty. I have also tried their durian crispy puffs

This curry puff I bought from 1A curry puff is the Crispy Curry Potato and Chicken Puff with egg! It only costs $1.30. It is cheap as its skin is thousand layered so the skin just flakes apart and melts in my mouth when I bite into the crispy curry puff! The egg is half an egg and the potato curry is very thick and aromatic. The taste is heavenly!
