Honestly, the foods really not bad n kimchi is very nice, beef, pork, chicken n prawn, not much choice as they only korean type BBQ, but gd enough for korean BBQ or meat lover, ** can avoid if u r not a meat lover as nothing beside meat at this buffet.

A great place for group gatherings, though remember to go very early to queue up to secure your seats. Early as in before 6pm early.Food wise, the selection was decent, there were meats, kimchi, watermelon, vegetables for wrapping the cooked meats in, and mushrooms. The meats were well seasoned, I particularly liked one type that tasted a bit like char siew (though I couldn’t tell what sort of meat that was. Just look for a reddish sauce one). Service was very prompt- they changed the aluminum foil on our hot plate many many times without us prompting them. Drinks are self service bottles of cold water.

My complaint about 2D1N is its very hot and stuffy in the restaurant and everybody’s sweating like crazy throughout the meal. Being a Korean bbq, expect to stink up your hair and clothes.

Seafood Pancake- I had trouble locating the seafood bits but overall, nice flavour.

Sashimi with mixed vegetables- It is a salad dish tossed with some pieces of fish sashimi slices in korean marinate sauce. This was served in a tall mountain heap and we had trouble finishing it. It tastes like achar! haha.

This is one of the nicer dishes- Spicy soup with ham and sausage. Served with korean noodles, pieces of ham, fish cake, rice cakes, cabbage and bamboo shoots. It’s the ultimate chapalung korean dish, and the soup was really tasty.

Octopus and pork belly. Slices of octopus and pork belly tossed in korean marinade sauce and garnished with sesame.

Service was fast and perfunctory. The servers here don’t smile much. Korean food lovers, especially those who love korean marinated meat of all kinds will not be disappointed by the variety whipped out by the restaurant.

$22 for an authentic Korean meat BBQ buffet is really worth it. So much so that I went an hour before it opened to get in during the first round. It was worth it. There're a lot of choices to choose from, different types of chicken and pork meat in generous cuts. They also offer sikhye, a sweet rice drink that's refreshes you in between rounds. The standard way is to wrap your meat with lettuce together with kimchi and bean paste before eating it. It's a good idea to skip lunch in order to maximise your tummy space for this meat feast.

The place is a little stuffy though, as it's crowded with a lot of tables using the hotplates. Be prepared for the lingering smell that sticks onto your clothes.

One advise is not to go too late as you have to wait for your turn.

definitely makes me want to come back here to try out their buffet dinner!!!

Celebrating one of the besties’ birthday at 2d1n Soju Bang located at Tanjong Pagar Road, was a love/hate thing. Love the food, and reasonable pricing, but we loathed the long queue! 2d1n Soju Bang is a Korean BBQ Buffet place, which is definitely affordable compared to its counterparts located in the area or West Coast. No reservation is allowed, which is kinda surprising ‘cos I tried to make a reservation during X’mas period for Nutties’ Xmas Dinner, and their reply was no reservation allowed

2d1n Soju Bang is a Korean BBQ Buffet place, which is definitely affordable compared to its counterparts located in the area or West Coast. No reservation is allowed, which is kinda surprising ‘cos I tried to make a reservation during X’mas period for Nutties’ Xmas Dinner, and their reply was no reservation allowed for ‘festive season’. Maybe they have changed their booking system I guess. Anyways, didnt take much photos as we girls were busy chatting, catching up and savouring the food. There’s one area where all the cutlery, marinated meat and ingredients are placed, and the staffs do re-stock pretty fast on the food (commendable!). Also, the hot plate used for the bbq is designed to be slanted, so that the oil could be dripped into a plate (healthy!). And if you fear the burnt pieces sticking to your food after BBQ-ing for awhile, no fret! The staffs would help to change the aluminium foil everytime they spot burnt pieces on the current foil. Good service imho!

Pretty crowded area, authentic feel of Korean food joint, great marinated meat, lettuce for the cooked meat, KIMCHI!!, free flow of bottled water, ice, dessert, soup, and staple food – rice and noodles! Tell me again, what’s there not to love about 2d1n Soju Bang (minus the queue)? Oh, maybe the BBQ stench on you for the aftermath?

Buffet price:
Adult – S$20+
Child – S$15+

*Recommended if you have the time to wait and for gatherings (small group!).

This restaurant stretches 3 shops along Tanjong Pagar road, it seems they have different theme in each shop. As we have read the review, we decided to try their S$20+ Eat-all-you-can grill BBQ buffet last night, it was in the second floor.

We reached there around 6pm, most of the tables were occupied, left 2 tables only! All staff are Korean, they smile politely. We were seating near the window, later then we knew we were lucky as half way of our meal, they opened up all windows. The air con wasn't cool enough for full house BBQing, they located few fans around the restaurant though. The coolest place is food selection area.

If you are a meat lovers, this is definitely a place for you. They serve marinated and non marinated pork, beef, OH....can't remember whether there is chicken or not, I don't eat chicken much, there is prawn too. Veggie wise, salad, freshly lettuce, kimchi, etc. 1 each seaweed hot and cold soup and a cold soup dessert. Sauces have sesame oil, Korean chilli, raw garlic slice, salt and green chilli slice. Watermellon slices to finish off the meal.

Icy water and rice are serving unlimited too. They have selected Korean beer and rice wine as well, this isn't include in the buffet.

While we were grilling our food, staff would come to change the aluminium foil once it was burnt. There is a bell at the corner of each table, it is calling for their service, they response fast once it is pressed.

To be frank, it is quite hot while grilling our food. After the meal, we have the grilling food smell from head to toes!

For such price, worth it. Their kimchi isn't up to standard. Anyway, I think we need to compromise this and that sometimes. When we left around 7:45pm, there was a long queue! Whereas, we could see the other 2 restaurants were not full house.

The service staff was friendly and polite to us.
