A Han Bakes is a hidden gem in Serangoon Garden Circus area. It is located elusively at 2nd floor of the shophouses, behind a tuition center. I was there at there's Soft Launch, where they were giving out free cupcakes to let people try out the cakes.Really love the cakes, especially their Lychee Rose Cupcakes! Managed to chat with August (the baker) a little and got a better understanding of the shop. A Han Bakes is a Boutique Bakery opened by talented young baker August Han (hence the name 'A Han Bakes'). In her words 'This is so much more fun, baking surprises and bringing smiles to people who receive her bakes.'
She even created cake loaves (see pic), that are designed for family consumption. I do agree it's much more family-friendly as compared to cupcakes (more for gifts in my opinion) How thoughtful of her!
Also, I was lucky to get to see some really lovely fondant designs (see pics)
And they also do delivery services! Do go try their cupcakes and I'm sure you will love them!
