I ordered the yuan yang version of the soya bean from this stall. it is a combination of chin chow and soya milk. The drink is mostly soya milk but they add in chin chow strips as the toppings. This drink is really refreshing, despite mixing in the sugar syrup they add to the drink, it is not too sweet. and when the ice melts, the drink become slightly diluted, this is the right sweetness. It is very thirst quenching on hot weathers. continue reading

Brought a soya bean drink to replenish my thirst. Firstly, the soya bean drink has a nice soya bean aroma, light and smooth and the sweetness is a little sweet. The soya bean is well grind, no sandy texture in the drink. The size of the drink is larger than normal and the price is also very reasonable. This drink is also suitable as a cooling drink during a hot weather. Other than soya bean drink, this stall also sells grass jelly, bandung drink, soya bean curd and many more. continue reading

i went to get myself a soya bean with grass jelly drink from the soya bean stall. They added some sugar syrup to the drink. You have to stir it to blend it completely with the drink. After stirring, I found it still a little sweet. The soya bean was very smooth, it had the freshly grinded taste, the grass jelly was very silky. I like the texture, it complements the soya bean and actually tasted really good. continue reading

I ordered a cup of soya milk with grass jelly. As the soya milk is not sweetened beforehand, I told the stall owner that I wanted to have less sweet syrup in my soya milk. As such, my soya milk is less sweeter than normal, but that is okay for me since I do not really have a sweet tooth. The grass jelly adds some texture to the soya milk, making it more delicious to drink since there is something to chew on. continue reading

So many soya bean milk stalls here, there’s really no clue which to try. Was in a rush for time and there wasn’t any queue for this so I went right ahead with it. The soya bean milk is a little watery for my taste and not milky enough. A lot of sugar syrup was added at the bottom of the cup making it sweet. A not very enjoyable one. continue reading
