Located at a old coffee shop, there is this stall offering pasta and sometimes dessert items for lunch at pocket friendly prices.Today there was 3 pasta dishes available. As I arrived at the stall at almost 1pm, 2 out of the 3 items had already been sold out. Since there was only carbonara pasta, I decided to order one. Payment was by cash upon ordering. Carbonara ($7)
Linguine, black pig bacon, egg
I also topup $1 for truffle oil which smelt quite nice when the pasta was served. The dish was quite well cooked and not jelat in taste, although it looked quite creamy.

Overall the food was not bad. Wish that there was more choices available.

Chestnut & Mushroom ($7)
Penne, Chesnut Cream
This dish is today's special. Following the staff's recommendation, I decide topup $1 to add truffle oil into the dish. It smells great of truffle oil when served. It looks simple, but it tastes great with the juicy mushroom slices and the nutty sauce coating the pasta. At the bottom of the dish, I find some slices of the soft chestnut.

Thai Tea Creme Brulee ($4)
Unlike the usual creme brulee which has a firmer texture, this has mousse like texture under the layer of hard caramel. It does not taste too sweet and has a creamy texture.

Overall the food is simple and nice. Best go early as the stall get quite crowded. The staffs at the stall are quite friendly and even come over twice to ask if I enjoy the food.

Came all the way here with the aid of google maps and finally found this place tucked away in a small coffeeshop. We tried their mac and cheese with bits of bacon and added truffle oil ($1) in it. Truffle taste wasn't faint and was well mixed into the mac and cheese. Portion seems to be a little small though but it was really good and full of flavours. Their aglio olio with mushrooms and zucchini was done al dente and I adored its garlicky flavour. Ingredients were quite minimal too but for its

Portion seems to be a little small though but it was really good and full of flavours. Their aglio olio with mushrooms and zucchini was done al dente and I adored its garlicky flavour. Ingredients were quite minimal too but for its quality, it's worth the price. Waiting time was a little long (at least 10 minutes), and the mac and cheese came much later than the aglio olio.

Lavender creme brulee ($4): the sweet caramelized surface was beautifully torched and cracky, revealing a mousse-like texture of creme brulee underneath which was very smooth and had the melt-in-the-mouth texture. Lavender taste was distinct as well.
