This stall is one of my favourite stalls in this canteen! They had this Ikan kurau penyet set special for $6 so I decided to try it out. The deep fried fish was crispy and the flesh was tender and soft but there were lots of bones in it though. The rice drizzled with curry gravy was yummy (and a little spicy) and the chilli (really spicy) was a great complement to it!

Finally after the long wait canteen 2 was opened. I was waiting for this store to open for so long. It was recommended by some campus food variety show which i can't remember. you can actually requested to change your rice to brown rice with additional of 30 cents which is I did; Healthier choice. I ordered the dory fish set as I prefer fish over chicken a lot more and it was so nice. the fish was so crispy on the outer and soft in the inner. You will have to wait awhile if you are not ordering

You will have to wait awhile if you are not ordering ayam penyet cause the kitchen will make it specially for you. Hence, the food was also served hot! The curry on the rice was slightly more spicy than I expected it to be! I actually had difficult to eat without tearing.

Ayam penyet $4.50Do not be intimidated by a long queue as the queue moves relatively fast. Service is a little aloof but the food is delicious. I had the ayam penyet (fried chicken) which is recommended on the menu. The chicken was tender, soft enough and skin was very crispy. I also love the crispy bits that went so well with the rice. The curry sauce was spicy enough but I wish they could give more as the rice without the gravy tended to be rather dry (and lumpy). I also love the sambal chilli
