Baden Restaurant and Pub is known for its German pub-inspired cuisine. We tried the pork knuckle and it was pretty good. The meat was quite flavourful and very tender. The variety of German beers offered here was also quite extensive. The furnishing of this place is also quite interesting, as few places are furnished using wood. We also ordered the fried platter that comes with standard bar food. The onion rings were too soggy unfortunately. The rest were acceptable.

Both me and my friend wanted to try German food, and we both agree to had a try Baden Restaurant and Pub.The food here was not the best German food you can get in Singapore. Don't get me wrong, the food had an alright quality, but the taste did not quite hit the right spot with us. Most of the other guests were only there for the beer, so perhaps it was not just us. Ordering the house white wine, curry wrust with nice fries and bacon wrap mushroom with mozerrella. The bacon wrap mushroom with mozerrella itself is nothing special, tasted just average and the portion quite small as for the curry wrust with fries, love their fries as deep fried to a crisp and tasted excellent.Review was saying their Pork Knuckle is highly recommended but didn't try it, will be back to try.The service I would like to highlight as excellent: The staff was very smiling, helpful and attentive. We were there quite early for dinner so hopefully they manage to keep up the good spirits also later in the evening.

We came here for their pork knuckle Used to come here pretty often but we wanna try out other places too so seldom come here The pork was tender, but somehow I think the standard has dropped since the days that we used to have it regularly and the meat wasn’t as juicy & flavourful as before. Also must try their German beer with lemonade Overall i rate 7/10

This place is still there at Holland Village after a decade! Love the aged feel of the place, it is like a good wine. Classic heavy wood furniture goes well with the simple German fare. Got to try their famous pork knuckle and the massive sausage sampler. The beer they serve somehow tastes more delicious than elsewhere! Something me and my friends cant figure out.
