My mom likes to eat stingray, I can’t think of a place is good in BBQ stingray. I remembered I have tried BBQ seafood at Chinatown food street but it has a bad impression. The only stall I could remember was Clementi central. So off we went to Clementi for this dish. The stall serves simple menu, mainly BBQ seafood and vegetable. We just ordered stingray and garlic baby jie lan for a simple dinner. We didn’t know how big the dish was until they served and charged. Taste the same as before, generous chilli sauce, after squeezed the 2 little limes, overall taste has brought out. Baby jie lan was stirred fry, it wasn’t overcook or undercook and I could taste there was mild shrimp paste with in, it wasn’t only garlic to enhance the flavour. We like the stingray so much. We could taste any msg though. Quite happy with our choice.

Craving for BBQ spicy stingray? You may find a stall that selling the good BBQ stingray at Clementi, the Kopitiam that next to the City Vibe. The Kopitiam there is quite stuffy I could say. They are selling BBQ stingray, cockles, squid, prawn, otah-otah and others. I like the spicy kangkung as well. The smallest pieces of stingray cost you $8. The price is depends on the size and weight of the stingray. The smallest plate size for Kangkung cost $5 only. The chili that they added to the BBQ food is really spicy and it’s getting spicy if you east more and more. Ask for more onions for your stingray, its gives a perfect taste to it.
