Introduction
Bee Cheng Hiang's bakkwa boasts the highest quality of meat hand weaved using a traditional bamboo sieve. It is smothered slowly for hours over live coals in our secret recipe. The smoking process seals in a flow of sweet and savoury marinate that infuses delectable moisture into every piece of meat.
The bakkwa is then barbecued over a glowing fire until it spatters and caramelize the tender meat in the all right place. Hot grill combined with dripping meat juice releases a sweet barbecue aroma to the already succulent meat meld together to deliver the authentic Bee Cheng Hiang Bakkwa.

Every year during chinese new year, my family buys 1 kg of bak kwa from Bee Cheng Hiang. To us this is the best and most reliable brand of bak kwa available. We really like the slightly smoky flavour of the bak kwa which is savoury and slightly sweet at the same time. It has a slight chew to it without being tough, and the porky flavour is really very evident. Definitely worth a try

bee cheng hiang recently added the traditional sliced pork to their menu. it's quite pricey, and is the 2nd most expensive item next to the pork belly which is about $60+ per kg. the sliced pork is not too bad, but still not as good as the kim hock guan's. it's more like bacon here. the meat is quite tough, but the sweetness is good. the service is helpful. very crowded place especially on the weekends. since it's the same price as kim hock guan, i'll rather buy kim hock guan's. except there are more bee cheng hiang outlets so it's more convenient.

I would like to strongly recommend other great products from bee cheng hiang other than their signature bak kwa! I have tried their mini pork floss roll, kuih bankit and raisin cookies this CNY (finished up too fast, forgot to take pic). I especially love their raisin cookies, it is the best raisin cookies i had so fast, its really delicious with lots of raisins and strong buttery taste, the taste is really very good! Their mini pork floss roll and kuih bankit are very yummy too. They are too the best pork floss and kuih bankit i had so far. All are quality products from bee cheng hiang. Give it a try if you have a chance!
