BreadTalk (Closed)

We were just at i12 Katong and decided to stop for a drink at BreadTalk / ToastBox.I ordered a glass of warm Barley ($2) and a slice of Macha Red Bean cake ($4.20).Both tasted average. Service was quite efficient, and there were enough seats both indoors and at the small outdoor area.

I was looking to get a bread as a snack so I walked into BreadTalk. BreadTalk always attracts me when I am craving for bread as it has a huge selection of bread, and they always come up with new creations. I decided on the safe option of cranberry cream cheese, which costs around $1.40. There are so many bread shops selling that now, and this one from breadtalk is rather average, cheese creamy and a few bits of cranberry within.

I dropped by Breadtalk to get some sponge cakes since I am going to work late tonight. The prices for most of the breads/cakes in Breadtalk have increased since my last visit. As this is the only bakery nearby, I decided to just buy from here, though I felt the price increase is not really justified. I got the steamed cakes, the orange and green tea flavour.
