Usual number of crowd, especially travellers or people who send their friends/families off. We ordered the Mushroom Swiss Double Meal UpsizeThe service was really slow. I was queueing in Line A and the staff in that line was slow, so I went to Line B, only to realise that staff was even slower. There was not even sense of urgency, just taking their own sweet time. After about 20 minutes of waiting, finally got my order. The meat was juicy but every time I eat BK (and have been doing so since the turn of the millenium) I can't help but feel that the standard has dropped, size portion has dropped which made room for competitors like Carls Junior to come in etc. Overall the rest of it was okay. Maybe it's just loss of appetite after waiting so long. continue reading

Iced Cafe Latte is being offered at the promotional price of $1.95 this month. Similar drink at the Coffee Bean outlet just next door costs at least $6. At BK, the iced latte is great value as they use ground coffee beans from Seattle's Best Coffee and Farm House brand fresh milk imported from Australia. A 600ml cup delivered the caffeine fix to keep me alert all day into the wee hours, along with the day's calcium quotient. Thumbs up! continue reading

We were rushing to budget terminal for taking plane to Ho Chi Minh but we haven’t had our breakfast, dropped off from MRT at T2, BK was the nearest stall before proceeding to take bus to budget terminal.I have ordered an omelette, bacon and cheese burger plus a cup of Americano. The burger was huge to me. It has thick layers of omelette, 2 cheese slices and few pieces of bacon, it was really filling though. Omelette was fluffy and generous, cheese was melting but bacon was bit overcooked, it was too hard. I liked the Americano, it was bitter to taste and strong enough to wake me up in the morning.I hardly have breakfast at BK, but this one could last me a few good hours till afternoon. continue reading

So my family and I just returned from an overseas trip and we arrived at Terminal 1, around 10pm. Frankly, throughout my entire flight, I was thinking about Popeyes chicken and mashed potatoes and when we finally arrived, we were sourcing for it, only to come to knowledge that the one formerly at Terminal 1 has officially closed down, only with the outlet at Terminal 3 left. By then, we were already near to Terminal 2 and hence, settled for Burger King as it came to our attention.I had the Salad with Grilled Chicken. It was good as the veggies were fresh and green. The chicken, though grilled being a wiser choice, was rather oily still... I suppose Burger King failed to drain out the oil. The chicken was pretty salty as well, leaving me with disappointment and not finishing the chicken. I did finish the salad though. Service was rather bad too; my mom and I had to repeat our orders a few times before the counter staff finally understood it correctly. continue reading
