I love going to library to read esp in the afternoon because of the air cond hahahaha! Then when I am hungry I will go to the cafe there to settle by lunch. This sandwich looks great and not too expensive too. Nice wheat bread sandwich with lettuce, tomato, ham and cheese, beside there is the tomato pasta and potato chips as side dish too. The sandwich bread is very soft and nice, and the portion is just nice, the pasta is awesome, made me feel like eating this right now when I am writing this review! continue reading

Love snacks like I do? Studying at Woodlands Civic Center’s library yet hungry for a bite? GO TO THE FIRST STOREY NOW. Café Galilee sells awesome Chicken Chunks. You can get them easily below $5! Super awesome.Simply order and take a seat while revising for your test and they will serve you the piping hot chicken chunks later on! The chunks are really juicy – about 9-10 pieces. About 10 juicy pieces of chicken chunks for you to enjoy while you go on and memorize your notes! continue reading

Cafe Galilee located at Woodlands Civic Centre which I loved it alot. Whenever I am going to library to study, I will definitely sit near the cafe area in order to order drink or foods while I'm mugging hard. This will help me to reduce my sleepiness while studying. This time round , I've ordered 'Cocoa Mocha Addiction' to accompany me while studying. It costed me less than $6. The beverage was quite a disappointing as I dont taste any mocha flavour at all but mostly Cocoa. I thought that it would be a mixture of the flavours. However, I loved their service. They even promote to me of buying a card which will greatly help me to save money (: continue reading

We were at woodlands library and decided to drop by the cafe as we were feeling lazy.I ordered the Galilee Special Spaghetti which was a fried chicken spaghetti. The fried chicken cubes tasted quite ok - passable and the dish smells quite lovely. The meal was also less oily (healthier!). The spaghetti itself was very normal, and came with ordinary tomato base.Overall, nothing much to expect, since its just a cafe inside the library, will try their pastries next time! continue reading

I went to Woodlands Regional Library last week to return books. As I was feeling hungry, I decided to pop by Cafe Galilee for a quick drink & snack. The 2-in-1 finger food combo (I chose Onion Rings & Potato Chunk) looked tempting & reasonably priced, at $3.80. So I ordered this together with a Hot Vanilla ($3.80).I had initially tried to order an iced drink and then the Filipino female cashier attempted to promote their beverage card to me, which costs $19 for 5 cups of drinks. As her accent was quite strong, I took a while to understand roughly what she was talking about. Even though you buy the card which is worth 5 drinks, it doesn't mean u don't need to pay anything else when you order drinks. You still need to top up certain amount of $ for each drink (hot drink top up $2.80 and cold drink top up $3.80). I thought this card didn't make sense since the most expensive drink doesn't cost more than $6! So I politely declined to buy the card, & also asked that she change my drink to a hot one. From that moment onwards, her face became so black & sulky. There was not a word of thanks or "enjoy your food/drink" when I paid for my order.I had to sit down for about 10-15 mins before the same cashier served me my 2-in-1 combo. Again her face was totally stern & she just plonked the food loudly on my table, took away my food number tag & walked off, without uttering a word at all. I was totally pissed off. The Hot Vanilla tasted just like hot milk, nothing fantastic. As for the 2-in-1 combo, the potato chunks & onion rings were quite salty and very oily. The serving was not much too. I wrote my feedback to the customer service of this cafe immediately after I finished my food. They had promised to compensate me with food & drink voucher for the bad service but to date I haven't seen anything from them. This will be my last visit to this cafe outlet. The service really sucks & the food quality doesn't make up for the extremely bad service as well. Their prices aren't that cheap too. I would rather go to MacDonald's in the same building for my cheaper & nicer fries next time. continue reading
