Located at Seah Im food centre, this stall is very easy access via public transport as there is a bus interchange behind Seah im food centre and a bus stop in front of it On top of that, habourfront mrt station is just within 5 mins walk. After watching the unceasing queue at this stall, I have decided to get the porridge for my tea break. After 2 hours, the porridge is still lukewarm and the porridge is very flavourful with tinge of herbal fragrance. On top of that, the porridge did not turn watery and the braised duck meat is very tender. thumb up for the great dish served! I highly recommend the porridge to anybody who love braised gravy aka loh( hokkien), wanted something light yet flavourful. For $3.50, you will get a larger portion while the smaller portion one is only $2.50. continue reading

This is my favouritest duck rice. The rice I like to order their yam rice. Its fragrant yet not sticky. If you order this, definitely ask for their chilli (even if you ain't a chilli lover) because their chilli is really just perfect match with the duck and the rice. I like to order toufu just for variety but their toufu is decent and has good smell. The soup is nice, I enjoy the soup as it has a herbal taste and doesn't feel very dry after drinking! continue reading

The FoodI ordered a plate of braised duck rice and a braised egg. The delicious yam rice is remarkably fragrant and have the fresh yam flavour. The braised duck is tender, tasty and boneless as its name suggests which I like it very much as I am non-bone lover. The bowl of savory herbal soup blends with the yam rice really well and I enjoyed it very much. The PriceReasonably priced at $3 per plateOverallI will definitely come back again and highly recommended to try this! continue reading

I ordered a plate of braised duck rice and a braised egg which cost only $3 in total. The delicious yam rice is remarkably fragrant and flavorful. The braised duck is tender, tasty and truly boneless as its name suggests. What is most impressive about Cai Ji Duck Rice that it comes with a bowl of savory herbal soup which complements the yam rice really well.Cai Ji Boneless Duck Rice is not only impressive in quality but also value for money. It is definitely worthwhile queuing up for. continue reading

My girlfriend and I have a soft spot for braised duck rice, we cannot really resist those tender and tasty braised ducks. One thing about braised duck rice is they do not use normal rice, they use mostly yam rice. This stall’s yam rice is really good, it is not too hard nor is it too soft. The yam fragrant is constantly emitting from the rice. The duck is very tender, the skin is not too oily. We both dun really like the skin so will have it removed before we eat it. The gravy they topped the rice with is very tasty. It is not too salty, is a wee bit sweetish. I love how it seeps into the rice making it so delicious. continue reading
