Buffet at CAROUSEL in Royal Plaza on Scotts is simply fantastic! Its the best value buffet in Singapore. The quality, presentation, variety and service is amazing! I must say its a place you would want to go often for any occasion! Absolutely great, every visit is unforgettable. The wide range of variety from seafood section.. love the lobsters, super fresh oysters, mussels etc.. the western food, the chinese food, the roasted meat.. the desserts.. oh my god.. its food from heaven.. must go and

After dinner desert was a piece of cake from carousel. Ordered this chocolate which was my friend's favourite to share. Quite a nice cake. Not too sweet which some may not like. And they have this different types of chocolate as a surrounding for decoration purpose. You have dark, normal and white chocolate whereby you can eat them as well.Overall the cake is not bad. Just nice in terms of size. Not to big or small.

Seafood wasn't really fresh. Lobsters were all too cooked, making it very difficult to chew. They are sweet though! Same goes to the prawns. There were quite a number of variety of food from Japanese to Chinese to Western. I was attracted to this egg yolk looked alike dessert, It's actually Mango!! Really nice, smooth mango puree inside.Service wise was a major disappointment. Front desk service was really poor. We waited for like 30 minutes even though there were alot of empty seats and tables!

I went to Carousel with a group of my friends, with reservations booked for hi-tea at 3pm. The queue was already formed prior to the timing, and many people were already queuing there to get in.
