I was here with my son to have dinner. He recommnded to try the satay bee hoon from this stall. He said it is the branch of that famous stall in Ang Mo Kio central. We ordered the smallest serving. The bee hoon was nicely cooked to give it a soft texture. It was then served in the flavorful peanuts gravy with a nice sweet taste. All the ingredients tasted really fresh. The portion is a bit too little for $3 and is not very filling.

This quiet food centre is just a stone's throw from my house and taking a slow walk there is always a good exercise particularly in the evening. This is one of my regular stalls at this food centre. This stall is a branch of the well known Satay Bee Hoon stall at Ang Mo Kio food centre. Both standard are quite similar and pretty consistent so far. The peanut gravy is rather well balanced in taste and texture and it tasted good when mixed it nicely with bee hoon. This dish is served with slices of cuttle fish, cockles, tau pok, lean meat and kang kong. It would be nicer if they have pork liver too. Recommended.

For a $3 plate, I would say the portion was generous. Cockle, Cuttlefish and Kang Kong (I requested not to have pork liver as I don't like) were cooked appropriately and blended well with the Bee Hoon. The gravy was flavourful, thick and nice and went well nicely with the ingredients. The only comment I have is that I feel, in my opinion, the satay gravy was not warm enough, and so I feel the been hoon was like "lukewarm". If it is warmer, it would be perfect! Its good value for money on the portion and nicely cooked Satay Bee Hoon and if you like this dish, you can order bigger portion with additional ingredients. Vendors were friendly, You should not miss it and it will be worth your timing queueing for it.
