Tanglin Mall's food court actually has pretty decent food like their Yong Tau Fu. But this is my first time trying their chicken rice ($4.50) and it was actually pretty good. The chicken was tender and very flavourful and they gave me a huge portion when I asked for a drumstick which cost me an extra $1.50. However, I felt that the rice wasn't as good - it was a little overcooked and not as fragrant.

Lately I am into wanton noodle, all thanks to people around me who is a fan of this stall and that stall and got me eager to try them out too. I only frequent this stall on their chicken rice but not their wanton noodle and thought will try as through the words of mouth that this stall is not too bad. The sauce was slightly a bit more darker and strong in taste which to me was okay only and the texture of the noodles were not as QQ as it should be. But the char siew was good, tender and well roa

But the char siew was good, tender and well roasted and the wanton was surprisingly not bad.

I'm fond of chicken rice and never get sick of it especially if the stalls have minced ginger to go with it. Today I shall eat at this stall which I used to patronize one year ago. The rice is well fragrant with the necessary spices and the chicken is tender and nice. They serve more roasted chicken than the usual white chicken and I prefer the white always. The taste has not change, only the portion of meat are getting lesser, so as expected, the meat was gone and the rice is left with 4 spoon
