Chopsticks (Closed)

I was looking for a value for money quick dinner when I came across this $6.50 recommended egg fried rice on the menu of this Chopsticks place. Their egg fried rice is ONLY with egg, rice& green garnish. There is no other ingredients hence it is too ex to pay $8. I am very disappointed with the quality of the food, although the taste is not bad and the portion is rather huge. Would not go back again

I am a creature of habit, most especially with places where I eat. I only tried Chopsticks because all of my officemates are going there so I had no choice. This was my first visit and thank goodness, my friend was there much earlier (slightly before 12noon) to queue up for seats. We ordered spicy egg plants and the signature dish, soya chicken. The egg plants were served with spicy prawn paste and the prawn paste was really savory. Their chicken was really tender on the inside and the skin was very crispy. Thumbs up for this!

The wanton served at Chopsticks is not bad, just that the skin that they used to wrap the meat inside is a little thick. If they can improve on that, it will served the dish a better rating in taste! (:However the meat inside is tender and tasted good. It is being poured with some gravy to enhance the taste of the warm wanton.Their service is not bad as they do have chilli by the side for you to dip your wanton.

It's very first visit to Chopsticks at One Raffles Quay! I went with my colleagues to queue in for this restaurant during lunch. We queue for around 15 minutes and at the same time choosing what we want to eat inside therefore not wasting time too, which is a good idea from the restaurant managment side. This is the soya chicken and is their signature dish! It is crispy on the outside and the meat is tender and chewy!
