Taste: Highly recommended for chinese cuisine. The taste is even better than some hotel's wedding dinner. The roasted duck is especially good.Environment: Very nice environment. But a bit troublesome to go there via public transport.Service: Pleasant service.Clean: No problems with the cleanliness.Price: Price can be quite expensive, but its worth it for the quality of the food served.

ChuDao is definitely on my recommended list of food places. I have tried a couple of dishes there and decided to try their Lychee Wood Barbecued Duck this time; we ordered the thigh meat, which was tender, and the skin wasn't too fatty and was very crispy, one of the better duck meats I've tried. Chu Dao serves better than average cuisine, and offers more uncommon dishes compared to your typical chains like crystal jade, etc. The lobster we ate this time was quite disappointing though, it's charged by weight, and this plate totalled $52, which I found not really worth the price paid as the lobster meat was very little. The sauce was also not impressive, doesn't have the spiciness black pepper sauce should have.

Chu dao is one of the relatively new food place offering chinese cuisine in the joo chiat area. They have a wide variety of dishes to choose from. I ordered the Three Kinds of Vegetables in Wok-fried X.O. Chilli Sauce - loved the x.o. chilli sauce, but they could do more with it as too little was given. I also had the Homemade Egg Beancurd with Shrimp paste, crabmeat and roe - this dish is my favourite, the beancurd was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and the gravy had real crab me

The 北京烤鸭 Peking Duck is one of the restaurant's signature. You get the first few piping hot slices of the crispy skin. The rest was then sliced up for wrapping in the popiah skin. and it taste super awesome and very nice! i think it was the best one in singapore that we had eaten. it wont taste too oily and highly recommended! must try other dishes too!
