The mutton satay retains some gamey flavour, which I thought was the key to a flavour-some (means flavourful and awesome) mutton satay!
The key to Chye Seng Satay lies in their out-of-this-world satay sauce! What's so special about the Hainanese style is addition of pineapple puree into the peanut sauce to make it more fragrant and at the same time creates a tinge of tangy and sweet taste. The sauce is so sought after that additional bowl will cost $0.5, or was it $1.

This is a stall that you wouldn't want to miss when you are here at Old Airport Hawker Centre!

I had a friend from Germany coming in to Singapore for the first time so I brought her around for some local delights at Old Airport Road. We ordered pork and chicken satay. The chicken which was also well seasoned, unfortunately was tough and dry. The peanut sauce was creamy thick and nutty but too bad it didn’t have a pineapple in it which some satay stalls
