I had my lunch at this foodcourt at the basement of People's Park Centre. My colleague wanted to try the dishes from this vegetarian stall so I followed suit. This stall seemed to have more varieties of mock meat and vegetables than the other stalls that I have ordered from in the past. In the end, I couldn't resist and got four dishes, the mushrooms, potato, spring roll and fried tau kwa. The fried tau kwa is dressed with sweet and sour sauce which made it very tasty. It is my favourite dish of all. The mushrooms are soft and juicy and there is a burst of flavour when I bite into it. The spring roll is a disappointment as it is quite cold and hence not crispy. It would be better if it is hot. Overall, I would buy from this stall again as the dishes are quite up to standard.

This vegetarian stall has quite a far bit of people queuing up during lunch time and I also went ahead and joined in the queue as the vegetarian dishes looked quite tasty. Although there is a queue, but the queue moved quite quickly and I was able to order within 5 minutes. I ordered the mushrooms, mock char siew and fried beancurd skin with filling. I can't really tell what is the filling inside the fried beancurd skin, but the taste is really good. It is my favourite dish of the three dishes t

I can't really tell what is the filling inside the fried beancurd skin, but the taste is really good. It is my favourite dish of the three dishes that I ordered. It is crispy and not oily and the filling also has enough taste. The only thing which I did not quite enjoy is the mock char siew as the "meat" is quite tough to bite. This plate costs me $4. There is also complementary cabbage soup with my order.
