Crystal Jade Restaurant (Closed)

The food in crystal jade restaurant was not too bad. I will give it a 7/10. Something that I am not very satisfied is about the service. It wasn't really good as I was queuing outside but no one attended to me only until 5 minutes later. Ordered the spinach fried rice. It is worth trying. Overall the experience at the airport was good. Queue time is short about 10 mins waiting time. Food served was also quite fast.

This bakery sells a variety of bread, cakes, Hong Kong dim sums and donuts. This donut is coated with chocolate and sprinkled with a few pieces of thinly sliced almonds. The donut is not too sweet and even for those without a sweet tooth, this might cater to them too. The bread is not too fluffy or soft and the almond bits add texture to the flavour and bite.

I'm not one who usually patronizes Chinese restaurants, but Crystal Jade seemed to be the best located for dinner before sending a friend off at the airport.The meal started off with crispy cuttlefish with salt & pepper ($13.95++). This was one of the better dishes at the table.The pork chops with crispy garlic ($27++) were tender and none too greasy.The Claypot Eggplant with Minced Pork and Salted Fish was decent ($20.70++) but pricey. I find it difficult to justify paying so much for this dish

I went to the airport to send off some of my friends who were going overseas. As they were going to America for a year, we brought them to crystal jade so that they can “remember” the taste of nice chinese food. I ordered a long of xiao long bao as I personally feel that that is the nicest thing and can represent chinese food the best. And crystal jade’s xiao long bao is one of the nicest around anyway, so the taste will definitely stay with them till they come back!

We decided to drop by Changi Airport for some shopping away from the crowds at Orchard and decided to have some chinese food! We went to sent a fren off & had a farewell dinner. Everything seems average at the T2 branch, food are ok, service is ok, price is ok, the place feels ok, everything's up to expectation but nothing specially good, just a place to have decent yumcha when u r in airport~
