It's a scorching day.I walked in wanting to cool off from the heat & quench my thirst.Hmm...there's a different lady preparing the desserts, today.Hopeful that she'll be generous with the ice shavings. Hey! They finally displayed a user-friendly menu...Nice... I placed an order for Ice Cheng Tng.Wow!She's a fast worker! My bowl of the sweet soup appeared instantly! I didn't even got time to get my payments ready! What a disappointment...! Oh my...what had happened?! This is definitely not the Cheng Tng that I used to like here...I tried my very best to eat...but failed.I brought my bowl of "sweet" soup back to the lady when the queue had gone. She grumbled that a lot of people had been complaining that it was too sweet even though I told her that it tasted like plain water. A man walked over to queue behind me while I thanked her after she added ½ a scoop of syrup. They had a "little" loud discussion on my request...it was so embarrassing! How I wished I could ask them to taste it...?! Anyway,I walked back to finish the dessert. It was really a ton of difference!Perhaps, they should have a SOP for the preparation. This experience made me think more than twice to patronize it again!OR...maybe, I should had been more observance & only order when the other lady was preparing the desserts. continue reading

I became Chendol fan, don’t know since when. I think my craze started when I tasted a very yummy one in Melaka. Had a great passion towards dessert, I don’t care it was fattening or unhealthy. The pouring of Gula Melaka was not enough, fragrance of Coconut was too weak. The whole bowl was diluted, tasteless and disappointed. To be frank, I felt that I was wasting my calories on it which below my expectation. $2.80 for Chendol, it was expensive and not worth it. continue reading

A great dessert when you need something sweet and refreshing to quench your thirst! Will definitely come back to try their other dessert varieties continue reading

I like to drink red bean soup.Because it is really good for health especially for girl.It is not only tasty,it also prevent constipation. The red bean is quite nice, soft enough, they also add some sago.Make the red bean soup become smoother. So i like it.It also taste nice with some bread,And can make me feel hall full too.It cose only $1.2 fro one bowl, but for take aways 1 is $1.5Extra $0.3 is because of the box they used.Because this is the food fare from hospital,so i think the red bean they used is also quite high quality. So i like to buy from there as the price is same as normal stalls. continue reading
