Tonight I am invited to Domino's Bloggers Appreciation Night 2013. We are treated to a feast of food by Domino's. Do you know all the food on Domino's menu is cooked by baking, except for drinks. Yes even the chicken drumlets and onion rings. It sounds so healthy even for junk food. Currently the new style in Domino's is its Cheesy Crust. It is crunchy outside as the crust is generously sprinkled with tasty parmesan, parsley, and breadcrumbs. It is also cheesy inside as it is filled with melting hot mozzarella, coated with garlic and herbs. Do take note that cheesy crust comes with a surcharge of $4 (regular) and $6 (large) for the usual pizza. We get to try this crust in Chilli Chicken pizza. It is very cheesy which I like is very much. The chilli chicken pizza is filled with juicy smoked chicken breast, onions, red pepper, chilli flakes and mozzarella cheese. It is very cheesey with just a hint of spiciness. Also have the all time favourite The Big BBQ pizza which is mozzarella cheese with smoked chicken breast, onion, green pepper, and BBQ sauce. Finally I am able to try Portofino Prawn pizza this time. I have been too full when this pizza is served during the last pizza event. It is filled with cherry tomatoes, juicy prawns, feta cheese, Belgian spinach, onions and napolitana sauce. Seldom have I see pizza filled with spinach and this is a very tasty combination. For sides, we haveGolden Roasted Drummet ($9.80/ 6pcs)It is well seasoned and juicy, with a hint of spiciness.Crazy Chicken Crunchies ($9.80/ original)Tender cuts of chicken breast, marinated, and breaded then baked. It is so crispy that one would have thought it is deep fried. It also comes in Tom Yam flavour too.Garlic Cheese Onion Rings ($4.80)A dish which is usually deep fried, but here the breaded sweet onions is baked and topped with garlic cheese powder. Yummy.Lastly for dessert, we haveChocolate Lava Cake ($6.90)which is full of melted soft chocolate centre. A hot favourite with all chocolate lovers. continue reading

Don't know how these guys are trained, but their new classic crust always comes out soggy, like they rushed the cooking just to get all the orders filled. Nothing worse than a soggy pizza, various times. Dangerous as meats may not be cooked too. I don't risk it anymore, I just order thins instead. Also, when ordering a custom pizza I request double of a topping but they rarely if ever honour that. In fact they put the same as a single serve of that topping, but charge you for the 4 custom toppings. These guys are ripping off consumers! Do they weight them or use volume measurements? Double means twice as much as normal, but they think we don't notice when it turns out a single serving. continue reading

I ordered the garlic cheese onion rings out of curiousity. It has got an interesting sounding name but i felt disappointed when tasted it out. It did not have any distinctive garlic nor cheese taste. It tasted just like the normal onion rings available in big packet in supermarkets. They fried it then sprinkled a little bit of cheese powder on top of the onion rings. It has only got 10% of the cheese taste spread out unevenly. continue reading

This is Chicken Temptation pizza from Domino! It consists of 100% Mozzarella Cheese with Succulent, Smoked Chicken Breast, Chicken Ham, Green and Red pepper to be garnished on top of the pizza! It tasted really good because we ordered for a thin pizza crust as i don't really like thick crust taste. They have alot more variety of pizza and their price are reasonable. continue reading

Read the full review at http://thehungrybunnie.blogspot.com/2010/11/dominos-pizza.htmlBrowsing through the online menu, we realise that Domino's is really more Pizza Hut (in its heyday) than La Strada or Ricciotti, although they serve "thin crust pizzas". The crust is thin, but unlike Ricciotti's wood-fired thin crust pizzas, it's very crispy, like Pizza Hut's baked thin crust pizzas. We got the Value Meal 2 ($49.80 net), with 1 regular pizza, 1 large pizza, 4 chicken wings, 1 onion rings and a choice of breadstix, twisty bread or cinnastix. We had:1) Meatzza Thin Crust Pizza - with ground beef, turkey ham, smoked chicken breast, chicken sausage, cabanossi, beef pepperoni was strictly for meat-lovers. I like the chicken breast here, Domino's manages to make theirs tasty and moist2) Classy Chic Thin Crust Pizza - with smoked chicken breast and chicken sausage. The olives, green peppers and onions cut through the meat of the pizza. I preferred this.3) Breadstix- fluffy breadsticks coated with garlic seasoning and served with salsa, was surprisingly more sweet than savoury. We didn't expect this to be so hugely portioned, this alone would make for a full meal4) Hot & Spicy Chicken Wings (4 pcs) - the American-styled hot sauce is really something us locals will need to get used to, with the use of fermented vinegar and cayenne pepper in addition to jalapeno peppers for heat, which explains the sour and sweet overtones in the not-very-spicy sauce. continue reading
