Located at the basement of Lot 1, next to GongCha, is Dong Dae Mun. It is a stall that sells Korean street food and has tons of branches across the island. I think the rice dishes are rather new so I decided to give it a try. This is the beef set and it comes with rice and kimchi. The beef is stir-fried and is only fried upon ordering so it is piping hot when served. The portion of the beef and the rice is quite big. However, beef was quite bland albeit being rather soft. However, beef was quite bland albeit being rather soft. Would liked to have more gravy in the beef as well. According to the other reviewers, the rice cake is quite nice. Will try that next time!

My girlfriend and I saw a lot of people ordering the kimchi pancake from Dong Dae Mun so we decided to give it a try as well. their kimchi pancake is very reasonably priced, only $2.50. It was not too spicy. there were two versions of the pancake, one spicy and the other not. The pancake was more of chewy than crispy. it was in a circular shape where the cook flipped it into half and cut it into 8 slices. It was pretty easy to eat and best eaten with the chilli sauce that they have.

Decided to stop by Lot One Shopping Centre before heading home for a light snack. I bought the Fried Chicken Thigh from Dong Dae Mun. It was pretty cheap, only $3.50 for a pretty huge piece. The chicken was re-deep fried to heat up. Despite being fried twice, the meat inside was still tender and juicy not dry up. I like the batter they used to coat the chicken, very crispy. The auntie offered me some sauces for the chicken which I selected their chilli and mayo. It was a really good combination.

I was really craving for korean food so i went to dong dae mun to get myself a kimchi pancake. their pancake is pretty good, too bad they do not serve it with its authentic dipping sauce but instead serve it with mayo and chilli sauce. the pancake tasted delicious on its own without sauce. it was very chewy but does not stick to your teeth. there were eight pieces in all. i found it quite filling.

I always head to Dong Dae Mun to get their Korean Streets Snacks, however recently i discovered that they sold Bentos as well. All these while I did not notice it cos the menu for their bentos were placecard on top of the glass counters where they store their street snacks. i decided to give it a try. it was very reasonably price in fact, i ordered the Pork Set, for a large portion of meat, they only charged me $3.80. it was a very healthy dish cos they added quite a lot of cabbage into the stir

I decided to give the fried chicken set a try. It was so cheaply priced, only $3.20. you get half a fried chicken breast. a portion of korean rice, shredded vegetable salad and kimchi. the chicken breast was deep fried till very crispy on the outside but the meat inside was very tender and juicy. the korean rice was very soft and chewy. i love korean rice, they are very sticky yet does not have the vinegar taste that japanese sushi rice have. their kimchi had the perfect taste, sour and spicy. i

Dong Dae Mun does not only sell korean street snacks. they also sell packet lunch set meals. I decided to buy back a box to try. they have set A - beef, set B - chicken and set C- pork. I settled for the set B chicken bulgogi rice. It was pretty cheap for the portion, only $3.80. You can choose whether you want spicy or not. I choose mild spicy, it was as good as not spicy. the portion of the bulgogi chicken was quite a lot, however, you can find chicken skin among the stir fry meat. I am not re

I am not really a chicken skin person so it took me a while to remove everything. There was a lot of cabbage and kimchi too. as a whole it was really good!

i was shopping around lot one shoppers' mall with my friends when we got really hungry. We decided to head to the basement to grab a snack. After walking around, we decided to get the Korean rice cake from dong dae mun. each portion cost $3. There were many other ingredients in the bowl besides the rice cake. There were Korean fish cake and cabbages. The chilli gravy was not too spicy but it went really well with the rice cake. It was really satisfying
