This cai fan stall in Singapore polytechnic is no doubt the cheapest and value for money meal ever. Given its cheap and nice food, this stall always has the longest queue during lunch hours or off peak hours. Do expect to wait up to 30 minutes during lunch hour. For 1 meat 2 veg, the price range from $1.80-$2.20. I ordered a curry chicken, steamed egg and beancurd. The portion is just right and the curry chicken is really delicious. The chicken is extremely tender and flavourful, the curry is qu

For 1 meat 2 veg, the price range from $1.80-$2.20. I ordered a curry chicken, steamed egg and beancurd. The portion is just right and the curry chicken is really delicious. The chicken is extremely tender and flavourful, the curry is quite spciy too, not too milky
Overall, this stall in food court 2 is the most popular and decent stall

This stall always have long queues, esp at peak hours.I ordered a curry chicken, beancurd, sardine fish and egg for $2.80. Considered quite cheap as compared to other stalls. Brought a plate of the mixed vegetable rice for lunch which includes dishes like the steamed egg, chicken cutlet, bitterground and the sweet and sour potato. For the steamed egg, it is well prepared and steamed, has a soft and silky texture, seasoning wise can be improved further. As for the chicken cutlet, it has a slight crispy skin, well deep fried and seasoned and has a soft and tender texture. As for the chicken cutlet, it has a slight crispy skin, well deep fried and seasoned and has a soft and tender texture. The bitterground is equally cut, sufficient seasoning, taste wise has a soft and crunchy texture and taste not too bitter. Lastly, the sweet and sour potato has a very homecook flavour, sauce is well seasoned, not too sweet nor sour, potato is equally diced and cooked. Price wise is very reasonable and the sufficient portion is given for each dishes.
