After days of feasting, the family decided to have vegetarian meal. We decided to visit the restaurant which was located at the first floor of the shopping centre, at the far end between the food court and Japan Home. I was told over the phone that the restaurant was crowded tonight and was advised to pre-order the food. I was recommeded the restaurant's meat-free 8-course Abundance Menu featuring the "black diamond" - Truffles! The set meal costed $168.80++ for 4 people. The restaurant was quite

The yu sheng surprisingly strong of truffle oil when served. I would prefer the mock fish to be made like the real salmon, but the texture was quite like the real stuff. The salad was quite tangy and refreshing, without too sour.
The soup was quite rich and tangy. Nice to have during the cold rainy day.
I usually only have mountain yam in soup. It was the first time for me to have mountain yam in crunchy and crisp texture. Instead of the usual spinach tofu, the japanese soy bean was used in the making the bean curd which gave it a kind of sweet taste.
I like the wild bamboo fungus here, which was like a sponge soaking up the various flavours.
The skewer had water chestnut, juicy pineapple, cherry tomatoes, green capsicum and beancurd skin, topped with tasty spicy peanut sauce. Felt that the fruits did not go well with the sauce.
It looked rather plain with just the colorful corns and carrot cubes but it actually tasted not bad.
The dessert was served hot, with red date, white fungus and peach flavoured jelly in it. The soup had a lemongrass taste.
It was a refreshing soda drink to have.
Overall the food was delicious and quite unique too. Never thought of having truffles for yu sheng. That was a first time for me.
