For more reviews, visit www.umakemehungry.comOften, we get headaches when it comes to selecting meals for a big group, given the constraints we have to limit our selections over lunch hours. Evertop Hainanese Boneless Chicken Rice is quite ideal for Halal dining with ample of dining spaces.Evertop Hainanese Bonless Chicken Rice is relatively popular among my clicks and need no introduction with her history. From a stall occupying a stall under the HDB, they have expanded to its current wide and spacious eating place after its relocation from Tanglin Halt / Commonwealth Drive. The poached chicken was the plainest of all style of chicken served with "Achar". Not that oily as it seems with light coating of soy sauce on the smooth and silky white meat.If you are ordering a set meal, it comes complete with a small plate of greens. Sweet oyster sauce with fragrant fried onion over the greens, appetizing isn't it? Dressed in Thai Style with compliments from the sweet and sour sauce it does give a tangy difference to fried chicken.Another style they have is its Lemon chicken. Just like the former, its is crisp at its outer layer added with sweetness and tad sourness from the lemon sauce.Beside having chicken with rice, Evertop operates like a Cze Char place with a long list of dishes that you may want to pair with the main courses. Items like fried tofu, vegetables are all available at your choice. continue reading

:bow:chopstick:l:I went there in the evening with a few of my relatives. The place there was a bit remote but it had rather ample parking space and the it is near the Clementi mrt station. The restaurant is located at the end of a stretch of food shops. Besides this chicken rice shop there are also other foods such as Yong Tau Foo and Zi Char. The good thing about this restaurant is that it is Halal and the environment is very bubbly. The staff there are also very friendly and they provide fast and efficient service. We ordered the deep fried tofu, white & roasted chicken, sambal sotong, sambal Kang Kong, fried Omelette and fried you tiao. Oh and not to forget the Yong Tau Foo from the other store which we brought over to the chicken rice store. The chicken was a tat oily but overall the taste is good. Especially if you eat it with their chili! YUM!! continue reading

If you have malay friends and wish to eat chicken rice, do visit evertop chicken rice as they are certified halal. The service was fast, food was good. It is the normal chicken rice you get any other place but other than that, they do offer other cooked food. Like sambal kang kong, and other fried stuffs. If you go with a large number of people, you can order more varieties of dishes and share. continue reading

Following my first review of the chicken rice there, now, instead of eating there, i had it packed instead. Just to see if it taste just as good and really it still does taste as good. The chicken was really smooth and the chilli is as nice. The fragrant rice made me wanna eat 2 packets of it. Will definitely come back for more! continue reading

This restaurant used to be located at Tanglin halt area before moving to Clementi. Great because it is now nearer to the west! Hehe Went there for lunch with my gf and she was raving about the Fried Ngor Hiang there. I have to agree with her. It's crispy and had a good bite/flavour. It went really well with mayonnaise. Anyway the smooth steamed chicken was ok though the rice was a tad oily. continue reading
