The memory of how I got to know Famous Amos still lie deep down in my head. Remember the times when we passed by Orchard MRT station and into Wisma, it was so hard not to breathe in the aroma that lingers at the shopping walkways produced during the baking process by Famous Amos stall. It was kind of frustrating during then when we got to smell but hardly had enough money to buy such expensive cookies given that we were only students. As years passed by these Handmade cookies still maintain its crunchiness and had them sold in Super-marts with more and more outlets had surfaced in the malls. Frankly, I would prefer the ones freshly baked from the oven than those prepacked from the marts.Throughout the years, their freshness had not compromised, so were its crunchiness. It was such a luxury to pop down these crispy and crunchy browns little stuff down unknowingly as they were so irresistible. Moreover, these sweet little snacks were also a perfect gifts during any festival times. Do note that the cost of cookies is based on its weight.

Whoever can defy the whiff of the famous cookies with Famous Amos offering free smells to shoppers wandering around at the shopping mall? Well everytime i pass by the shop, it ignited my craving for their cookies and so one day i decided to stop by and purchase a bag of cookies.Famous Amos is well known for its delectable cookies and they either sell it in bags or tins. You can choose to buy 100-200g and 300g or 500g. The tins are great for gifts, especially during festive seasons. They also sell brownies, and other baked goods. Well i bought 100g each of the White Choc Chip and Macadamia and Chocolate White Choc Chip. The staff asked if i want to put them in the same bag and i said sure. The total came up to $11 for 200g worth of cookies. Both cookies offer a crumbly texture which i love but the White Chic and Macadamia tastes better. It offers a stronger taste, there is a pronounced Macadamia taste, as well as the white choc chips in it. On the other hand the Chocolate White Choc Chip pales in comparison in terms of the taste whereby it is just sweet cookie crumbles with white chocolate chips. Quite plain though the color is quite interesting. Still i had say i had get Famous Amos cookies anytime of the day! Both cookies are extremely sweet so do drink lots of water after eating them!

I happened to pass by Famous Amos and got these cookies today after dinner at JEM. They were having a promotion (I think you've got to flash the white NTUC card and you can get 50grams free with 300grams of purchase) so I got 300 grams of cookies - mixed Chocolate chip and macadamia and Chocolate chip and pecan cookies for $16.50. The texture of the cookies was very crunchy. They were not too sweet too. If you haven't try their cookies yet, please do because they are really delicious
