Fancy Delights started out small but have since grown from a modest pastry shop that has grown to now boost an extensive range of egg tart flavours. While walking around IMM, I was glad to see that the shop is still around. I tried their original egg tart and I love the crumbly thick egg tart crust. It is not too buttery and thus not too sweetening. The custard within is also very soft and silky with a pudding-like consistency. Thumbs up to Fancy Delight for the tasty egg tart!I will definitely be back to try their more special flavours like the Kiwi and Pandan Red Bean. continue reading

Even though this shop may look small and they only sells tarts, but the different types of flavoured tarts have their own individual unique taste. I have bought their all-time favourite cheese tart to try. For the price of $1.50 per piece, is affordable and the portion is quite alright. The biscuit crust is quite crunchy and with nice butter fragrant and not too sweet. The generous portion of smooth cheese custard filling is very smooth and creamy. This snack is very flavourful and delicious. The service here is friendly and nice. continue reading

Went to IMM food Kiosk area and saw that Fancy Delight sells different type of flavor egg tarts which attracted me.There are over 10 different flavors for me to choose from.Out of the 9 egg tarts that i bought,i like the melting chocolate, orange chocolate and the mushroom chicken the most. The melting chocolate is a little bittersweet and there is chocolate oozing out in the center of the tart. The orange chocolate is sweet and also tangy which make the egg tart taste unique. As for the mushroom chicken egg tart, initially i was hesitate of choosing it but since all flavor that i chose are the sweet type and mushroom chicken in egg tart sounds interesting i decided to try it too.The taste of the mushroom chicken is like eating a mushroom pie but with egg tart.As there are discount promotion around 9pm,all egg tarts are selling at $1 each. continue reading

Fancy Delight has managed to transform the traditional the egg tart snack into an artistic piece of work with 10 over different authentic flavours such as double chocolate, pepper chicken, apple cinnamon and many many more. Currently it has 3 outlets in Tanjong Pagar Plaza, City Square Mall and IMM selling these yummy cup shape egg tarts. The egg tarts freshly made daily was very delectable with a nice crust. The interesting combination of flavours to the tradition tart is unique and flavourful. continue reading
