I was looking for a quick lunch and finally settled on fishball noodles from fei siong. It didn't taste that good when I brought it back, as the noodles were clumpy and soggy, which makes it hard to finish it. The fishballs were good and tangy, but the amount of ingredients added was quite little. The portion of noodles given was huge though, so perhaps two people could share.

Fei Siong at Junction 8 basement was quite packed today, so i had my dinner packed and eat at home instead.I like their fish ball "bee tai mak" soup. Fish ball is very "Q" and not much fishy smell. Clear soup is sweet and not too oily just nice for me. The handmade tau kee is a bit too soft though and not too crispy. Perhaps it's because i take away. So it's recommended to eat-in. They also have the handmade JUMBO size fish cake! Will try some other time.simple and fulfulling meal. will definite

$2.50 is definately worth it for the fishball noodle at Fei Siong , I've tried different fishball noodle at varies location and I find Fei Siong's one is one of the best , just the right taste and the soup is not too salty , and do remember to order their best item of the stall , the 'fried fish cake' .

For $4.00, you can have a bowl of noodles served with 2 fish balls, pretty inferior minced meat, shredded mushroom and 2 pieces of fried dumpling. Choices of chinese noodles vary from mee pok, mee kia, mee tai mak, kway teow, etc. Fei Siong also sells side dishes like fried giant sized fish cake, fried tofu topped with fish meat and fried wan tan.I must say the ingredients they use to cook are fresh but the taste just comes out average.
