I love the fish cakes from Fei Siong ever since they have their first outlet in town. The fish cake is fresh, not oily even though it is fried and have this really fragrant fish taste from the fish glue it is made of. Selling at $1.20 per piece, I will usually get myself one of this when I walk past the stall and feeling hungry. Other than fish cakes, I also like their fried beancurd skin which have a little bit of fish meat in between the beancurd skin. They also have fried beehoon and curry vegetables for a full meal if you are very hungry! continue reading

Not only their popular fish cakes and curry vegetables are nice and popular, personally I prefer to have their fried noodles and deep fried beancurds. The noodles here are more towards the darker version which is much more tasty and with more fragrant from the dark soya sauce used in it. The noodles are also very chewy and not soggy at all. Their deep fried bean curds are also one of my favourite as they are very crispy on the outside and really soft and smooth on the inside. Eventhough these are all very simple foods, but they just simply taste so good! continue reading

After shopping at bugis village with my friends , our stomachs were grumbling loudly so we decided to dine at bugis junction's basement one. i ordered my favourite satay beehoon.the satay beehoon i had was awesome at FeiSiong. the whole dish isn't watery, but is dense with Thick peanut satay gravy spread on the beehoon. the ingredients includes cuttlefish, tau pok and vegetable(kangkong). However there weren't sufficient staffs to clear the dishes because we couldn't find it clean table to seat ourselves down. continue reading

Serves very nice and tasty deep fried snacks here as well as fried bee hoons, mee and even curry vegetables.Square piece of nicely deep fried beancurd topped with minced fish paste, small chopped chillies and onions, not at all spicy but very well marinated fish paste which makes the beancurd tasty.Fishballs sold here in 3 differents shapes for example 3 medium sizes fish balls in a stick, one big ball or shape like a long tube.Whatever the shapes, the fish balls are very tasty and no fishy taste even when it's cold. continue reading
