I paid my visit for early dinner during a weekend Sunday after movie time. I was there around 5pm and there's only two table occupied. The food is standard and good. I love their grilled pumpkin side dishes and mashed potatoes. The grilled fish with peri-peri sauce was good too. Their soup of the day are good too with fish bites in between.I love their ordering system with iPad setting which made the ordering simple and fast.  continue reading

Headed to Fish & Co for my brunch, I had a sudden crave of Fish. It provided a unique Mediterranean style, served their food with a pan always. Lunch time was a bustling affair, with the restaurant was quite packed and there was a short queue in front of restaurant. My order as shown, it used freshest fish as well as natural ingredients like Olive Oil, Herbs and Spices. It was actually served with a choice of any two side dishes form “Fish Fare” Menu, including Veggies, Rice, Chips, Mashed Potatoes or Homemade Coleslaw. For mine, I picked Rice and Potato. The most classic grilled fish accompanied with Signature Peri-Peri Sauce, it was my all-time favourite. Rice tasted not bad with the drizzle of raisins, Mashed potato was undeniable silky smooth and creamy delicious. Overall, I enjoyed my time there with the comfortable environment and also the friendly service. continue reading

One of the nights after walking around at Bugis, I went to fish’n’co for a comfort food bite : fried calamaris and Fish’n’chips. The staff was attentive and responsive to my orders. The fried calamaris was well cooked, chewy texture but still easily bites through. The batter coating was flavourful. A tinge of lemon squeeze would add a nice sour kick to the overall. Fish was so tender and soft on the inside, the batter on the outside was so crispy as I cut open, it sounded like lobster crackers. Went really well and tasted fresh with tartar sauce. continue reading

For a full review with pictures, visithttp://rachelays.blogspot.sg/2013/04/bugis-junction-food-trail-fish-co.htmlClams with Curry Butter This is something different from the usual garlic lemon butter that we always have. It is midly spicy so non-spicy takers can eat this as well. Warm bread is served so that diners can utilize the remaining curry butter sauce because it is so yummy.Mussels with Spicy Marinara The sauce is moderately spicy (not very spicy) and I feel that it will make a good pasta sauce because I really like the subtle spiciness of it.Soft Shell Crab Salad I love soft shell crab and eating this makes me feel less guilty because it is a salad. Look at the abundance of lettuce underneath that sinful-looking soft shell crab. I find that the soft shell crab is a little greasy but still acceptable.Shrimp & Clam Aglio Olio Spicy aglio olio The spiciness level for this is moderate. I find that this is not spicy enough for me so it should be tolerable for those who can't really take spicy food. I like the taste of the aglio olio but I find that it was rather oily at the base.Seafood Galore Visually, the highlight of this dish is the grilled king prawns. They are so huge, juicy and fresh. The curry butter clams need no more introduction. If you want to try the curry butter clams, you can simply order the Seafood Galore as a main and the curry butter clams will be your sides! Unfortunately, I find the paella rice here slightly dry.Bombay Fish & ChipsThe Bombay Fish & Chips is good but it is a pity that I am unable to appreciate the taste of the Indian herbs.Grilled Peri Peri Chicken with Scallops Juicy The peri-peri sauce makes a good combination with the grilled chicken. I love the mashed potato. The middle of the mashed potato is drizzled with some sauce and it makes the otherwise dry mashed potato moist and creamy. It also brings out the taste of it. I would have eaten more if not for the limited space left in my stomach.Grilled Fish with Ebiko Ebiko is placed on top of the grilled fish. Ebi means prawns or shrimps in Japanese. If you like ebiko, you should like this. I find it average only though. continue reading

Click : http://www.dairycream.blogspot.sg/2013/04/fish-co-brand-new-menu.html for full Review and PicturesAfter dining at Fish & Co several times, I am delighted to learn about their revamped menu with new tasty dishes. The menu has become a stylish magazine with a 50s retro feel. The choice of light blue colour scheme also effectively highlighted its nautical theme.Clams with Curry Butter $11.95--The use of butter in this dish produced a smooth and creamy texture which makes it a perfect dip for the focaccia bread served alongside. The curry is mildly sweet and won't leave your tongue burning.Another new addition is the Soft Shell Crab Salad($11.95), a giant deep-fried crab with beautiful sweet flavours. Be sure to dig in quickly before the dish gets soggy. For a place that is renowned for seafood, I did not expect the Black Pepper Chicken Baked Rice ($13.95) to be so flavourful. Each mouthful of rice grains is moist and peppery, balanced with sweetness from the luscious caramelised onions. Be sure to scrape the burnt bits of cheese like what I did. Simply spectacular and addictive! However, I was not only hooked to the seafood, but also to their creamy mash and french fries--one of the best versions I've tasted that day. continue reading
