I decided to get some bread from one of the bakeries i usually frequent - Four Leaves. They offer an assortment of bread, the standard size one and also the mini sized one which they named mini world. Four Leaves follow a standard store layout, from what i observed at the Jem outlet, similar to JP's, cakes with cashier at the front, and a horizontal E rows of breads lining the sides and centre of the store. Can be a little cramped when you have a long queue and you are trying to grab the breads you want to buy.

I was feeling a wee bit hungry after dinner and decided to grab a bread just before i head back for work. Don't wanna be distracted by hunger later on :x

 The Ham and Egg Soft Sandwich ($1.50) seems to be made of french toast but i couldnt be sure. But the bread does looks appealing on the whole. However it tastes quite cool when i eat it, hence implying it could be left on the shelf for some time. The mashed egg bought a little sweetness to the bread and makes a tasty combination with ham. This two can never go wrong. The bread is abit chewy, paired with ham, also chewy and soft eggs.

At Four Leaves, you have a great variety of cakes and confectioneries to choose from and you can never run out of choices from classic and novelty cakes to buns, breads and brownies. And they have mini ones that add on to our choices. Beverages are available for purchase in their store if you like one.I happen to pass-by Four Leaves and bought a box of 6 mini croissants-look-alike back home. I happen to pass-by Four Leaves and bought a box of 6 mini croissants-look-alike back home. What comes to our mind about croissants is buttery smell and crispy on the outside. Quite a messy thing when having a croissant, especially for me. Too crispy that the crispy flakes just fall off. But here the taste and texture is different and totally change my mind about croissant. A soft versus crispy croissant.

It has the soft touch on the texture especially. On first bite, the custard flavour one tastes a little plain but shortly, the buttery and custard taste came slightly and if you did not realise it, you miss the taste and judge it as just plain bread. And as for the chocolate flavour one, the taste is much obvious but not very strong.

Overall, this is a good try and I will buy again for breakfast or tea time.

Got a box of 6 chocolate buns because they were so good! The bread was soft and fluffy. I really loved the texture. The chocolate taste was not that strong though. The taste was also not sweet even though it was chocolate flavour and it made the bread even nicer! They also have custard flavour for this bread but I prefer the chocolate flavour.
