it is really uncommon to find a bowl of noodles costing $2.50 these days even in hawker centres and coffee shops! Imagine my delight when I discovered this stall selling Shredded Chicken Noodle from $2.50 onwards. There were some shredded chicken and braised mushrooms in it too. I asked for chilli to be added in but it was not really spicy for me. The gravy was not salty and tasted good with the kway tiao. continue reading

took away dumpling noodles for lunch. there was no additional charge for takeaway it costs $2.50 which is considered very cheap for today's standards! The skin of the dumplings were a little too thick and the meat fillings were very little (probably because of the cheap price, they cut the ingredients). The noodles were good though. I can feel the eggy taste. A pity the gravy was not that good! continue reading

Shredded Chicken Noodle , an ordinary looking bowl of noodles over lunch. The stall was manned by 2 ladies and one of them was quite friendly. It was an order by mistake, I wanted to order kuay tiao but I told them "Shredded Chicken Mee" instead. The noodles comes with big thick braised mushrooms and these were taking out from the slow cooker placed by the side of the stall. Besides adding these braised mushrooms to the shredded chicken, some portion of cabbages included. Although I ordered the chilli version, it was not that spicy for me. Cost: S$2.50 / S$3.00 (Small / Big) continue reading

I get to know this stall through my friends they told me that the stall was awarded best food so i decided to bring my family members to try out this stall. I ordered a minced pork noodle from this stall. The taste is just like normal noodle selling at all hawker stalls no different from others. The soup that is being serve is too salty and added too much pepper and it taste abit spicy. The noodle is abit over cook. I was quite disappointed. continue reading
