The FoodI ordered the 1 person white chicken rice set. The meat was silky smooth, soft, tender, almost light kind of feel with nice bite to it. The drizzled soy sauce was very well balanced, slightly salty but very tasty. Rice was well- flavoured and cooked just right and not so oily. The sauces were all very nice and chilli was spicy, the ginger sauce was very special with added ingredients inside which made it very tasty. The PriceReasonably priced at $3.00 per plateOverallI will definitely come back again and highly recommended to try this! continue reading

We came here for lunch and there were some specific stalls that we were here for and chicken rice was not what I wanted to eat. But as I looked all around me, I realized many people seemed to be eating the chicken rice from this stall. So I went to order a $3 plate to try out. The rice indeed were not wet or oily and very fragnant and less salt were added in taste which I reckoned it's healtier. Least to say the chicken were tender and just felt that the portion were a bit less. continue reading

Ordered a Chicken Rice Set for lunch. As the term "set" suggested, I had expected more but was a little disappointed. It turned out to be no different from ordering normal chicken rice, which usually comes with soup too. The chicken meat, though tender, was only served in few pieces and it was not satisfying. The dark sauce in the sauce dish merely covered the base of the sauce dish. By my 2nd piece of chicken, there was barely any sauce left.I definitely had better chicken rice before, and for a set, this was really not up to my standards. Total Cost: Chicken Rice Set - $3 continue reading

This stall is easily spotted by the rows of white chicken head hanging. It sort of block the view of the cook from us but it's okay, what matters is the food. It's actually one of my favourite stall in the whole food Centre. He have a stall assistant whom I have to repeat two, three times before I get my extra chili sauce. Free to take as much garlic, chili or dark soy sauce. This is my packet of white chicken drumstick rice. This stall do not have egg but can opt to add the chicken kidney or liver. My boss favourite is to add chicken kidney which would cost $0.50 more. Their tender and juicy chicken is addictive. His secret method which i found out is never to actually boil the chicken for too long and to dunk in cold icy water before serve so as to retain the firmness of the meat. Special sauce was added to the meat and rice to add more flavours. Love their chili too. Usually I would need to take two packets of chili. However, some people may find it a bit oily. continue reading

Located in the vincity of Queensway Shopping centre and Alexandra Ikea, this is one stall for your chicken rice mix. Tender succulent chicken in tolerable but yet oh so fragrant soya sauce. I must say that the rice is also another key side dish. Rice is not too soft and is extremely fragrant. Only downside would be the chilli. This garlic chilli just doesn't suit my taste as it's a tad too sour for me. continue reading
