Signature Dishes
In the middle of the night and craving for cold desserts, we headed to hougang kopitiam. They are opened till late along with 24 hours NTUC fairprice directly beside. We had ice kachang topped with red bean. The colorful syrups were mouthwatering. It is sweet, cool and refreshing. Dig on and you will find a whole chunk of gems at the very bottom of the ice kachang. Give it a try!

Love this dessert, honeydew sago with shaved ice. The honeydews are very fresh and sweet, moulded in ball forms which are very easy to bite and chew. The sago comes in different colours which is very attractive. They are soft and sweet too! I feel sago really goes well with all desserts. Will be back for more!

Ordered the buloh hitam at the dessert stall and it costs $1.70 each bowl. Auntie gave generous amount of the thick coconut milk as well as the black gluten rice of the dessert.The mixture was thick and sweet. When you mixed with the coconut milk,it further brings out the flavour of the buloh hitam.Not only that,it was quite filling as I had late dinner after that.

Was doing some marketing at Hougang Festive Market and decided to have some dessert. I had the sweet potato with longan soup which is an item under the hot dessert list. The staff was very generous with the sweet potatoes as I had quite many pieces of it. However, some of the pieces were still quite hard while the others were soft. There was no consistency. The sweet potatoes do not taste sweet at all. They were tasteless. If you have it with the soup then it will okay because the soup was so sweet...far too sweet. The dried longans were also sweet. In the end, I only eat the ingredients and did not drink the soup.
