Ice Edge Cafe (Closed)

Ice Edge Cafe is located near to Kovan MRT Station. Found out this place randomly and decided to try out. The pizza is nice with those dried onions on top. Meat with rice is also nicely cooked, rice mixed well with the sauces. Overall, I feel that it is a bit expensive but the food there is pretty nice and delicious. The environment is also not bad to chill out with friends, will go back and try out other dishes again soon.

Located within walking distance from Kovan MRT, Ice Edge Cafe is a convenient place to have desserts after a meal. They have a wide variety of gelato for you to choose from. Tried their Crème Brulee - A rich custard base with a layer of crispy caramel, and a gelato of your choice, of which I chose Lychee Martini. The gelato was alright, nothing special. As for the Creme Brulee, tasted like any other. You might want to tried their lava cake (which was recommended but I have yet to try).

My friend brought us to an affordable western cuisine cafe which located at kovan road. It’s walking distance from Kovan MRT station. The cafe is located at Simon Plaza which is next to residential houses. The cafe was flooded with walk in customers during dinner time. Found this by chance, and didnt regret coming. Although ordered the 1 for 1 lunch promotion, the ala carte prices seems reasonable too! Ordered their spaghetti the non spicy version, and found its creamyness acceptable, and is little bouncy when chewing. The stretch of roads around Simon Road and Kovan Road has been slowly and in a way quietly developing into a food street. The Ice Edge Cafe is a cozy cafe located at the quiet stretch of Kovan Road. The cafe offers a wide variety of Gelato Flavors. I ordered a Root Beer with ice cream which is known as black cow on the menu. For the ice cream flavor, I went for Lychee Martini. This is the Mao Shan Wang durian ice cream and lava cake for this cafe in Kovan! Love the flavour of the ice cream and it definitely authentically taste like durian. Love that it is not overpoweringly sweet and was quite refreshing for an especially hot day!! The lava cake was good too! Love that it is warm and paired up with the mao shan wang ice cream! Totally melts in your mouth and makes u feel really happy!

beef lasagneThe lasagne looks very tempting in the menu so i ordered this. pesto chickenThis dish is quite nice,the pesto sauce is a bit creamy and salty.The chicken is tender and soft,and it match well with the sauce.Dip with the pesto sauce makes it taste nice,but not ketchup or chilli sauce.seafood aglio olioThis dish is also not bad,they are generous,give us lots of seafood.Got scallop,prawn and squid.And they are quite big in size too.But the aglio olio is not very flavourful,must add some cheese or pepper to make it taste nice.

vongoleThis dish is just normal.But it is quite nice.The scallop is fresh and quite many in amount.The spagheti is not very flavourful,so i add some cheese to increase the tastiness. bbq pork ribThe BBQ sauce is tasty and nice,The pork rib is also tender.The Pork meat is soft and flavourfull.So it match well with the BBQ sauce.The sauce is red in color,different from others.Others is in black color.

My 1st time here but definitely not my last as i didn't have a chance to try their ice-cream!I've heard about this cafe and all the while i tot it only sell ice-cream and dessert but i was so WRONG! Dropped by with some friend for late nite dinner and coffee and we were so full and didn;t have anymore space in our tummy for dessert and we missed out! :-(A healthy choice loaded with omega 3.
